Most comfortable guard
I’ve tried a number of mouth guards and in my opinion this is the best. Most are too thick and I cannot sleep with them in.This guard stops ache from teeth grinding but is thin enough to let you forget it’s there.I’ve seen other reviews saying they thought there was a risk of swallowing the guard. But, for me, it stays perfectly in place all night. I couldn’t swallow it if I tried. To me it is expensive, but worth the cost

Not for me .
I suffer with TMJ from grinding my teeth. I started wearing this and I've woke up with a pounding headache and toothache . I did start buying the disposable ones of these and they are fine so thought I'd try this one but this one is harder and moves. It's made my symptoms worse .

Not as good as the maximum protection guard.
I grind my teeth and have used the dentek maximum protection mouth guard for years. Thought I would try this option, the line that goes round the front of your teeth is meant to sit on your lower teeth. My front teeth are too small for this and the line sits on my gums, which is painful so I have to wear it upside down, which isn’t comfy. Also because it only sits between the back teeth, all the pressure goes through your back teeth. This means that my back teeth can be quite painful when I wake.

Much cheaper than the dentist's version
I actually have found these not only cheaper than the custom made tooth guards the dentist makes me, but also more comfortable and much easier to clean. They take a while to get used to, but once you've worn one for a few nights they start to mould slightly to your teeth and fit better and better. I now feel quite panicky if I don't have one to sleep with as they are so much a part of my night time ritual. If you are new to using any sort of tooth guard, I'd say give it a chance for at least a week as you won't find it instantly comfortable, you need to bear with it, but that's the same with the sort the dentist gives you. I like the sort of plastic it's made of as well - seems much more hygienic then the usual sort.

Disappointing, worsened grinding
I was sceptical about this product based on the very mixed reviews, but decided to go ahead and try it anyway.Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product at all, since it did nothing but encourage my teeth grinding. To hold the guard in place you must bite down on it, so as soon as you fall asleep the guard falls out. Falling asleep clenching the mouthguard resulted in worse grinding, so I had to stop using the product.Unfortunately it seems that these more lightweight guards just won't work - either spend a bit more on a full guard or, if you can afford it, speak to your dentist for a bespoke one.

Preferable to the maximum protection guard
I used the Maximum Protection DenTek mouth guard for a couple of years but always found it a bit too big and bulky in my mouth. I was hesitant to try the Comfort fit because of the mixed reviews but I'm glad I did as personally I find it so much better than the Maximum Protection version - smaller, less obstructive, doesn't give you a lisp, I wouldn't go back to the other one.

Doesn't even nearly stay in place
This doesn't stay in place at all, and I did not trust sleeping with it in without slipping and choking me.I have a completely normal sized mouth and teeth, FYI.It does not stay in place, unless you clench your jaw, which I feel, over time, would actually worsen my clenching habits.I do not recommend this.
