Q: I have 3" of exposed seat post height. i can't put the seat much higher. will this be too high then? it says 4" of minimum height i believe.

If you look at the dimensions for this item, the seat post tube cannot be any lower than the bottom of the mechanism. From the mechanism bottom to the pinch bolt below the mount for the seat rails is 100 cm (3.96 inches) unweighted. I'm assuming when you're sitting on the seat, the mechanism would depress a little so that the seat rails are 4 inches above the seat tube, but if you have less than 4 inches of you're current seat post extended from the top of the seat tube to the seat rails, you probably can't use this. Much as I'd like this, it just won't fit my ancient touring bike frame for just that reason!

Q: Does this fit the rails of any bike seat? I have a Bikeroo large seat.

This suspension post fits/ goes with my "standard" bike seat.

Q: What is the max weight limit

Sell page indicates stock weight limit is 185# but also that a higher or lower weight spring can increase or lower the limit. One question-responder indicates their weight as 270 # and is using higher weighted "red" replacement spring with comfortable ride.
