It has a very good flavor, just a tad salty. I usually just add 1/2 can of corn, or green beans to it to make a quick meal.

Uses actual Black Angus beef, contrary to other canned chili in the same space and category. We were impressed with the different flavors and veggies used. I think that the set you buy here is much cheaper and something you would buy at your local store. It's not greasy or with too much added salt. The flavor was good, and was easy to put into other dishes without any overpowering flavors. Well done for the price paid, and the quality you get from Hormel
