Awesome Mesh Add On Linksys Velop
Bought renewed and appeared brand new without blemish. A perfect add-on for my Velop Series Mesh. Half the price, great performance!

Refurb stuff works good as new
Seem to work great and I haven't had any issues. The mesh network went together seemlessly. Not crazy about Linksys' app setup; would have preferred easier desktop access so I could integrate the routers into my current config. However, I was able to work it all out in the end without too much headache.

NOT running RouterOS
I bought this router because the description says it runs RouterOS. It absolutely does NOT run RouterOS!!! In fact what it runs is a linksys OS that forces you to make an account with them and do all the configuring online using a phone app. I was able to find a URL online that allows logging into it directly....but even then since it does NOT run RouterOS the firmware is extremely limited. Almost no features at all except that it will route under some minimal definitions. The team in charge of the descriptions should understand that because a router runs an operating system, that does not mean it is running RouterOS. RouterOS is a thing. And its brilliant by the way......but this router won't run it.

Small but mighty
This was an inexpensive replacement for our router that died. I thought it was going to be a temporary fix until we could get to the big blue box store for a more expensive router. This one works great! Easy to set up and works with our newer satellite internet. Our streaming is much faster now so we are keeping this inexpensive but mighty machine!

Setup issues
My certified refurbished unit was marked with the wrong password. I was able to work around and turn on a guest account which is working. Good speed and signal, even around steel walls.

It works good
I had tried another router before this one and could not get it to work. I thought I was doing something wrong until I found it wouldn’t work with others either. So glad I switched to this one. It was recommended by someone else who had it. This was way better, I set it up quickly and easily. Only hook up to the internet source and plug in to power. It gave me the connection I needed through WiFi. I haven’t had any problems or connection issues. I bought it on a good deal as well. Definitely, would recommend it buy again.

It works fine.
I bought this as a second router to connect to my main router and thereby extend WiFi to my office which is in a separate building behind the house. I connected the two routers with a Cat5 ethernet cable. My main router is also Linksys, but apparently is a different kind, so I had a little confusion setting it up as I was trying to follow instructions on a YouTube video that did not apply to a Mesh style router as this new one. My son was able to help me and eventually got it all working. If this is to be your only router I'm sure you will have no problems like I encountered. If you're using this as a secondary router to extend your network, yes, it can and will work, just don't ask me what my son did. ha ha The bottom line is it is working for me and I now have WiFi in my office, so I don't have to use my phone data for everything.
