Don't rely on this system setting itself up magically. Download and read the manual.
I got a set of these to replace a Wifi 5 (802.11ac) Apple AirPort Extreme multi-node system in a large house. The Apple system was 12 years old and the radio in one of the nodes had failed. My Internet speed is limited by my wireless provider to 100Gbps so I would not have been able to benefit from a faster Wifi 6e or Wifi 7 router system. My topology with the Apple system was a router and several hard-wired access points. I was able to mimic that with the Linksys system. It is effectively a mesh system with ethernet wired backhaul. The setup process is OK but not great. I was able to get the first station set up as the router and change its wifi name and password to the same one I had used with the Apple system. The challenge came when trying to set up the other notes. First, when they say the secondary (child) nodes are set up, they need to be close to the router. This is true, but they have to be REALLY close, like maybe six to eight inches. I had a stack of unconfigured nodes three ft away from the router and the router couldn't find any of them. Also, the instructions tell you to link the child nodes "when the light stops blinking." That light has four different color capabilities: blue, red, yellow, and white. You need to wait for the BLUE light to stop blinking. If you wait too long and it transitions to a non-blinking red light, you have to start all over. It would have been nice for Linksys to actually tell you the color you are supposed to synch on. Also, I was unable to link the child nodes simultaneously as a group. I had to link each node one at a time. It takes patience, but once it links, you can relocate the child node to elsewhere in your home and the router will find it.The router and network management app is so-so. You can set the router password to anything you want. Family settings are available but I do not use them. You are supposed to be able to set the lights on the router and nodes to either ON, Off, or on 8:00Am to 8:00 PM. This appears to be all or nothing - you cannot adjust the light settings for each device independently. However, the "lights that are controllable in software are the single indicator light that shines through the top of the unit. The yellow and green lights on the ethernet connections are not able to be turned off. I have one device behind a TV set in my master bedroom and the ethernet lights backlight the TV, which is annoying in the middle of the night. I stick some pieces of black electrical tape over them and that solved the problem.I am not sure if this is truly a mesh system as I have the nodes connected to the router by ethernet cabling. However, it functions like one and can handle more simultaneous devices than my old Apple system.Overall, I am pleased.

Single Level Home/Small Family - Perfect Router
We needed to upgrade our router for a 1300 sq/ft home. Small family - no gamers. Did not want to over purchase for our needs. This has been fantastic. We plugged it in and scanned a QR code - up and running! Easy access to change administrative controls. Intuitive user interface. Easy setup for guest network. Parental controls available. Diagnostic info and firewall easy to find. Only drawback is we cannot find any way to hide the SSID broadcast - model LN11. We did access the router admin with the Linksys App as well - no account needed. Just enter admin password. Nice appearance is a bonus. Router is on the floor because our kitten is a pest right now!

Worked well but coverage wasn’t enough
Worked OK, but where my router is located there was too much interference to get good coverage throughout the house, I switched to a 6E mesh system.

Great router that meets the needs of a small household
Our old router was the cause of very slow internet speeds - less than100 mbps. I am now getting the speeds my provider brags about. The only thing that would make it better is if the instructions that came with the new router had told me that I could rename my new router to the same name and password I was using with the old router DURING THE SETUP PROCESS and before any connections were made. It would have saved me a TON of time! Since I didn't know I could do that in advance, I had to re-direct all my devices to the new router name and password just so they would connect to the internet. WHAT A PAIN IN THE A_ _!

Compact and smooth router, yet...
I had high hopes of this router when I ordered it. I expected it would be just as powerful as my old router and more efficient.Upon its arrival, I rushed to hook it up. I liked how small and compact it was. The white color was also eye-catching - gave it a fancy look!It finally started functioning, and everything went south from there.I noticed a lot of lagging with this router - it just didn't seem to have the power and reach of my old router. It also was more work to use. The less work, the better. That's my belief. For a small household, I think this router would work perfectly. But if you live in a medium-sized one or larger, this won't do the job.I didn't want to use the nodes. I'd rather just use one router.

Wouldn't connect to the internet
We had a different router (Node) connected and I wanted to swap it out to a regular router with more ports. Couldn't get this router to connect to the internet even though it was a mesh router with the same brand and software as the Node. The software was supposed to walk a user through switching over to the router and reconfiguring the network since it's the same brand and uses the same exact app. Should be a straightforward process, but it was far from it. I tried various ways of logging in and even changed some of the security settings, but absolutely nothing worked. At one point, the status light showed that it had internet connection but it never did. Spent half a day on this "plug and play" router. Returning it and just going back to using the node.

Have had no complaints from it!
Have been testing it for a couple months now I am fairly satisfied with this. The coverage is a tiny bit smaller at up to 2,000 square feet, but the speed is more than adequate and it is perfect for our needs. I love that there is no app requirements and Linksys privacy focus for their routers. It was pretty straightforward to get everything set up. I appreciate the simple understated look too. I still cannot think of any complaints to it. Everything works rather simply and it makes for a great router for small households. I have not tried it with any of the additional buyable mesh nodes but I will update it in the future if I do.
