HTC Desire 626 UK SIM-Free Smartphone - Grey

This phone is a gift to my husband. So far he has no complaints about it. The phone worked perfectly well. It arrived on time. Pleased with the purchase.

Have another HTC so wanted this for the office and colleague use.Like these a lot , better than my old Blackberry and as good as any Apple product. Can I say better...? Incredible value compared to i phone or should I say i -rip-off...Nearly £50 quid cheaper than local Carphone Warehouse or EE shop.... Shocking.

Do not buy from MACnificent they sell fakes! I'm really sad that I have to rate this so low. I've always had HTC so I was just going to get a similar phone to my HTC Desire 610 which I have had for years, but the SIM card now starts popping out so I decided to get a new one. Big mistake, it has been a huge disappointment from day one, for some reason it did not like my SIM, don't know if it has anything to do with my SIM being Vodafone and this phone originally being O2 however it was meant to be SIM free which was one of the reasons I bought it. It could never do a simple system update, find locations or download images from messages, etc. I tried everything to fix it but it didn't work and for the price I paid for a phone so similar to my old one, I am devastated. I looked up online and it seems to be an common problem with this model. Save your money and get one that is better in quality. since first writing this review I tried to return this phone but I had it sent back claiming that it worked perfectly fine, now I am stuck with a phone that does not work without my refund! I then have recently taken it int a phone shop and they told me it was fake! Do not make my mistake, get something better and do not purchase a phone from this company. I am not a person to rate something low for the sake of it, please do not purchase or you will find your self at a loss of money like me.

This is a really nice phone for the value. I must have dropped it over 30 times and the screen is not even scratched. I don't use a screen protector.

Fantastic Prime delivery ordered at 9 am have phone by 7pm Phone seems fine since my previous was HTC and died I had no problem getting my photos and contacts etc

Nothing wrong with the seller or product, but it was a mistake to buy this as the battery is not removable, so when I wear it out, which I usually do, im not sure what the options are.

I recently purchased one of these (not Via Amazon) and am extremely disappointed.Liking to play music and videos, the 'Boomsound' feature and front facing speakers, so highly praised by HTC, seemed ideal. I've now found that my 626g is "not compatible" with Boomsound. The only sound control it has on it, apart from the obvious volume rocker, is lousy and the speakers are so faint you can hardly hear what's playing!The camera is also bad. All photos are pixelated, "fuzzy" and un-sharp and pretty unimpressive with washed-out colours and poor skin tone, etc.The inbuilt Apps are a pain too.Don't think I'll be tempted by HTC ever again!What a waste of just under £200 - with case and card, etc.

Its a great alternative to an I phone and does exactly the same. Decided to buy a phone with a sim contract. I am not disappointed with my decision.
