Impressed.
Budget pads that do a great job against 90mm hose end cams. Got them today, unloaded wearing them, got clumped by a hose end and no cuts or bruises. That's good enough for me. Comfortable to wear and easy to put on/adjust.*update*They're still going strong. No good for kneeling with but good protection against bumps.

Good value for the money
Good value for the money. Light and quite though. They are not the thickest one you can get, but they sure can take some heavy hits. Fits really comfortably and doesn't seem to be misplacing itself. I thought that it is a bit more brownish/olive colour judging from the picture provided but it is pure black. That's not really important though :)

Wrong colour, otherwise acceptable
The protectors in the photo are NOT the same colour. They ones provided are black. If you are buying them for work then probably won't mind but if you want them for a costume and you do not want them in black then do not get these. It seems that they have changed the product but the seller did not bother updating the pictures or the description, because photos from previous reviewers showed them in the right colour. A bit disappointing but unfortunately I needed them straight away so could not return them.Otherwise they are ok to wear if have fairly slim legs. They are quite long as well, so good for tall people. Cannot comment on the quality of protection they provide, but they are comfortable to kneel.

very good, but not the most comfortable
I'm not really sure what you are supposed to use those for in real life... I used them for cosplay, and am quite satisfied. They adapt well to your legs, are stable in their position and feel strong. They should protect your legs well from small things, like rocks while crouching. They seem to be waterproof. The only problem is that they are not the most comfortable if wearing them for a long time; they are kept in position by elastic bands and, in particular, the one behind your knees feels really tight! I'm a woman and not particularly fat, but the bands are barely right for my calfs.

These leg protectors are excellent value and are very study as well as being easy to adjust. Note: they fit over your trousers/slacks. I have bought them for leg protection when using my brushcutter/strimmer and rotavator. They are relatively lightweight and provide category 1 PPE protection.

My knees love them
Got these for walking/bushcraft so I wouldn't have to worry about my shins knees when going through dense undergrowth or kneeling on flint (because the stab wounds suck). Have really battered them and they have held up great, even took them on an obstical race as I wa wearing shorts and saved my shins knees a tone, even slid down a hill on my knees and worked awesome. So a few sticks/stones pinging of a strimmer shouldn't be any issue. Have recommended to friends and for the price you can't go wrong.
