I love my govee lights, I love the colors how you can dim them and all while working with one app on your phone, no need for a remote just use your phone, you can hook them up and it works with your speakers right from your surround sound or speakers right on the tv, or just leave it one color and watch the movie in a red scene or any other color your heart desires, they also work great with MUSIC! I love them so much I bought another set and I’m going to put them in my family room/gaming room to work with my led strips I’m also going to purchase from govee, it’s all great cause I use it all in 1 app no need for 50 remotes. Hook up the wires just like any other flush mount ceiling light, they fit in the original space from the old mounts and add color to any room or just use as a regular light fixture. Love them!

Unboxing my first Govee lights, I was presently surprised how the kit was put together.I was replacing a regular White-only set of Recessed/Disc lights of the same size, so the install was super easy...except for one thing... the White-only lights were only as thick as the 1/2" drywall and these lights are about 3/4" thick.This meant that I had to remove a 1/4" of wood from any supports the intersected the drywall openings.Once the wood removal was done, connections and adoption to the Govee app were very easy.

My husband purchased these lights for the covered patio outside our pool area. We love the many color options and the App is easy to use. It is nice to be able to change the look of our patio area by just using our smart phone. They were a good value for the money compared to others we located at big box stores. We had an electrician install them.

The lights look great, work well, easy to install. The app sucks. You can only group 10 devices together. Not nearly as intuitive as the Hue app or devices. But, for way less money than the Hue products, I’ll cross my fingers and wait for an update to the app.

We have been enjoying our Govee recessed lights. We added recessed lighting throughout the house, but we wanted something special for the master bedroom, and being able to dim and control the lights from my phone has been great. The sizing is perfect to light up our entire room. The color-changing feature is also a huge plus!
