Amazing, delicious, fresh!
This is one of the most delicious flavors I have EVER had and I am definitely buying more! It smells wonderful and the beans are fresh, grind wonderfully, and my coffee is always perfection because of it. I have family members looking forward to come over to have this coffee because it is just too good.

Strong flavor. Compared to Illy and two Lavazza blends.
I purchased and tested four quality espresso beans.Illy Classico(Steel can, nitrogen flushed and sealed)Lavazza Qualità Oro (Gold bag, red labelling.)Lavazza Super Crema. (Blue bag.)Gavina Old Havana Espresso (Parchment colored bag with brown labelling.)Old Havana is the darkest roast. They call it a "medium-dark" roast, but in this group, it seemed past "medium." They also "stick" more in the grinder, meaning the Jura (which is insanely finicky) had trouble feeding them more than the others. Despite this, they only had a few flecks of visible oil, less than the less-darkly-roasted Super Crema. The Old Havana also produced the most crema, although all four beans were good at this. (See my Jura Ena 8 review/video for an example of this.)If you want a bitter bite, which actually I often do, this has more of it than the others. It also came closer to Starbucks or a percolator, while having more actual flavor and smoothness than either. This is suprising, because it is a 100% Arabica roast.I do like this roast. I included it for a reason. It is bracing. Will get you up in the morning. And it's great for cutting through the milk in a drink. But for a mid-day sip, perhaps something smoother?Lavazza Super Crema has been my go-to since Tony's Sugar Bee (previously Ganesha) became too hard and expensive to acquire. (If you haven't tried Sugar Bee, give it a shot. Very rich and thick ristrettos.) I expected to like it, in comparison, more than I did. But while it has a bit of that bitterness I like, and no burnt flavor, it just lacked presence. It's okay everywhere, but a rock star nowhere. It is an interesting roast; it's 40% Arabica / 60 Robusta beans. The other three are all 100% Arabica.Lavazza Qualità Oro surprised me. It has both more mouth feel and also more smoothness and flavor than the Super Crema and the Illy Classico. The Old Havana does have more flavor but less smoothness. A week later, working my way through all these beans (yeah, it's a lot of beans to buy at once), the Oro was the one I was looking forward to most. Qualità Oro is 100% Arabica.Illy Classico, which is 100% Arabica, has always been a reliable backup. The beans are available locally at the supermarket, and they don't change much over reasonable storage times, perhaps due to the can and the nitrogen flush. They're also completely unexciting. It's obviously espresso, and smooth, not bitter, but there's no personality. The lightest roast is Qualità Oro, followed by Super Crema, then Illy Classico, with Old Havanna being the darkest. Strangely, the Super Crema had more surface oil (although not much) than the other beans, while the Old Havana were the shiniest.

Great coffee for your French press not your superautomatic
After reading a few reviews, I bought this hoping to use it in my superautomatic and French press. Too oily for the machine (though not overly so) but a solid top 5 in the press. This is really great coffee.

Delicious
"This Nuevo Mundo boasts a vibrant, almost floral aroma with notes of juicy berries and citrus that explode on the palate. The acidity is bright and lively, yet well-balanced with a smooth, medium body, leaving a lingering sweetness and a clean aftertaste that dances on the tongue long after the last sip.".Definitely will be a repeat customer.

This Espresso has my Cuban seal of approval! Que maravilla!
I love, love, love this espresso! The package arrived the same day my fully automatic espresso machine did. What can I say? I'm ditching the other famous name for this one. This is AMAZING!This espresso lacks the bitterness found in other espresso coffees. It's full bodied and absolutely delicious. This reminds me of my Tia Fe's cafecitos!I also tried this in my Dulce De Leche Latte and once again, this bean produced a latte few coffee shops can rival. Now I can make all of my favorites at home.If you dream of being in Miami on a hot summer morning and ordering a cortadito from a coffee bar while you pick out your pastelitos. That coffee is this. These coffee beans have exceeded my expectations and I will be a loyal customer for as long as your company sells coffee beans. I loved the name because that's where my family is from, but the taste truly won me over. This is a true Cuban espresso bean, and it gets all 5 stars from me.

Makes a decent Cafe late'/cappuccino
Didn't make a good expresso or black coffee in me expresso or mocha coffee makers, respectively, however, it did make a good late'. Believe it or not the best expresso beans I've experienced to date is the safeway select expresso, unfortunately they stopped making it, however, their Italian roast is a distant second
