More assertive without being overly obnoxious
This horn was an easy upgrade for my 2015 Toyota Highlander. I used some conversion cables I found on Amazon and had it swapped out pretty quickly. The sound is way louder than the stock horn, but not over-the-top like those obnoxious train horns. It’s got a strong, clear tone that actually gets people’s attention without making me feel like I’m overdoing it.Since installing it, I’ve noticed way fewer people cutting me off. The OEM horn just didn’t cut it—people would still merge into my lane even after I hit it. I was starting to think I was invisible! With this one, they actually react and back off. If I needed another set for a different vehicle, I’d buy these again without thinking twice.

Hella good horns!
Loud and compact. Installed them in the faring of my dad’s Harley Streetglide and they’re absolutely perfect!

Louder than the original horn
These horns look good and sound great. Install was easy for me, I already had wire and connectors. I like that it comes with a relay but I used the existing wiring so didn’t need it.

its not like its a $100 horn or INSANELY loud
Its a pair of horns....they look interesting, the work, they are decidedly low cost. What is different about this horn is that it fires directly forward. Your car may have a trumpet horn that fires downward and thus you might hear and feel it a lot more inside of the cabin. It certainly doesn't feel like they are loud from your own perspective.

Great OEM replacement when they go out!
These are loud enough for sure. They don't have that deep, big car or truck sound, but more a that little car sort of tune, but maybe triple the volume. Does the job! Oh yeah, tricky to hook up if you're not well versed with wiring and stuff. I installed them on both my vehicles and both required a very different installation.

Loud as hell horns so easy to install!
NICE AND LOUD!Very easy to install. No relay needed. There is only 2 wires for the horn. Positve and negative. Just connect the old horn signal wire to one end of a new wire using a spade crimp connector and connect it to both horns on the same conectors of each horn using 2 more spade crimp connectors. Then make a second wire connection to both horns on the remaining spade tabs on the horns. the negative spades using 2 spade crim connectors and at the other end use a crimp terminal ring connector and find a bolt to ground it out on. *if your horn is a negative and then a positive you can just reverse the connections. But o found that there is no positive or negative marked on the horns. So you can hook them either way and they should work fine. They worked so well i got a 2nd set for my wifes Prius.

Not Worth The Money.
I made a big mistake buying these horns. I'd been running two of Hella's Supertone Horns (the red ones), and was perfectly satisfied with them. But I wanted a change and a bit more color, so I bought the yellow Sharptone horns. Uh-oh.First time I hit the horn button, I was like, "Wha-a-a-a-t?!?!" Remember when you were a kid and maybe you bought one of those chromed dime store horns for your bicycle...you know, the ones with the red rubber bulb you'd squeeze to honk the horn? Like one of those horns circus clowns play with maybe? Well, THAT'S what these horns remind me of.These horns are louder than stock, sure, and very high-pitched, but in reality all they sound like is a slightly louder version of a stock beep-beep horn. They LOOK cute, okay? But I hated them. Luckily, I'd kept my Hella Supertones, so I reinstalled them and gave the Sharptones to a guy works at a custom shop. They weren't worth my trouble to repack them and return them for a refund. If you buy these horns with the expectation of getting the attention of other drivers, I predict you will be as disappointed with them as I was. Get the Supertones instead.
