Surprisingly good mower
I used Flymo as a teenager doing my parents lawn. I remember that being hard work. Although my new garden is small, maybe 30 square metres, the Flymo was simple to use and done a great job. It was simple to assemble. It is a reasonably good quality product. Easy to adjust height with the spacers. The lead was long enough to reach the end of my garden, 10M long. Its not loud and hovers wellon a flat lawn. So far, great lawn mower for a small garden and great value for money at the discounted price. Recommended all round.

Just ok
We took up a large lawn to provide more planting space and replaced it with a small circle of grass 4 m diameter. Sold our petrol lawnmower and bought this for handiness, as a replacement. The mower is light and moves well. Its supposed to mulch trimmings which it does partially, but it still throws out a lot into the surrounding area, so there is much sweeping up after use. It does not cut very evenly. I think I'd have to use it every day to get a tidy and evenly cut lawn. Changing the cutting height of the mower is a complete faff, involving removing the blade and inserting spacers between it and the body of the mower, but that's a consequence of its hovering nature I suppose. It was very cheap.Positives - its cheap, light and easy to use.Negatives - doesn't cut evenly, throws out a lot of cuttings into the surrounding area and adjusting the cutting height isn't straightforward.

Brand New, original packaging delivery was great ! on time, Courier service was also great
It's a neat little Hover Mower, ideal for short grass ( lawns ) longer grass would require a more powerful electric motor. Its very easy to handle, lightweight, decent cable length , has a metal blade for durability ideal for small garden and will help keep the length of your grass under control without much effort

Good value but too small.
I underestimated the size of my newly acquired garden so I can't blame flymo for that - having said that I'm limited on storage space so I'm in a catch 22 situation. The mower itself works - it cuts and it's keeping my lawns as tidy as my next door neighbours (with his fancy petrol mower).Assembly instructions weren't the best and even though the only assembly is the two part handle, you want to get it right - I didn't the first time and one of my plastic bolts fell out and almost got itself mowed.I had trouble lowering the handle for storage and then to my horror realised you literally have to bend over and squeeze the lower handles in toward the body of the mower - not easy when you're barely 5 foot tall and lacking in upper body strength at the best of times.Another problem with the mower (or with it being too small for my lawns) is that the vents get clogged every 10 minutes or so and it stops 'hovering' until I brush them out - I didn't realise this was the problem until I read the manual. The blade height adjustment works well - I was worried about having to handle the blade while doing this but the blade isn't sharp - I think a sharper blade would be better actually, but then I'm sure it would not have passed 'health and safety'.All in all a decent mower for the price - if you have a very small garden.

Super mower that really does the job
Really great hover mower - it doesn't vibrate through the handles and it does a fantastic cut, the metal blade really sorts things out - I have three spacers on mine to take it down to do a low cut on the grass, and it really does hover as well - very lightweight and easy to use when powered up. Also it is not too noisy. I am super happy with this!
