Made by CRAYOLA; YOU KNOW IT'S GREAT!
This is GREAT! I use it for embossing powder and glitter application, and really enjoy using it. Papercrafter's know that flakes, powders, sequins, and glitter have a mind of their own, defying the laws of physics, LOL! I place paper in the bottom of the tray, do my process, and conveniently put any excess back in the bottle [ I've stored the original tiny beads in other containers, using the provided bottles for repeated use.] THANX CRAYOLA; you've provided thousands of hours of fun and creativity to my life, and NEVER LET ME DOWN. ❤

She loves it! Totally worth it!!
After receiving this product and using it I felt like I needed to write a review because of all the negative things I read when purchasing. I want to start off by saying this was a mother/daughter bonding time and she absolutely loved it!! I did the gluing and she did the shaking. We bought it as a Christmas gift for her, and I definitely review it as being giftable for anybody that wants to do something fun with their little.I saw a lot of people saying there isn’t enough glue. There is. Sure, if I was to let my step-daughter do it on her own I can totally see where she would use a million times more glue. So there’s two simple solutions: 1) do it with the child or 2) buy some Elmers glue and refill the glue bottles (they are easier to use/control for this, and simple to refill).I also saw people saying that after getting it they feel it’s a waste because it’s an afternoon project and it’s done because no refills or no room to store it. The box is 12x24 (rough guess), so not excessive for a contraption like this. There are refills if you go on Crayola’s website. Another idea: you could print a coloring page and use small beads you can purchase from the craft section of a store.Does the paper shift around when using it? Sure it does, but only after it’s got quite a bit of weight from the glue and beads. We started at the left hand side of the paper and worked towards the right. I would recommend this because the beads don’t have as far to travel to get to the glue when the paper starts to get heavier. Honestly, being a crafter, I expected this would happen when we bought it.At the end of the day, I still stand by my 5-star review!! If you are willing to think outside the box a bit and want to spend time with your child crafting this is really fun and worth every penny.

Pretty fun, tedious to use
I'm very excited that I got a great deal on a used one! $12 and I think that's a fair price, it even came with the beads and glue, pages, etc. It works, I'm glad the hinges are easy to deal with, I thought I broke it at one point but no; just popped back on. You have to be careful about using the right amount of glue. So far I'm not sure how the glue dries we just did our first project.I do know the sprinkle-dispenser mechanism is useless. It puts out too much at once and (if you're particular about where each color goes) you have to take a while maneuvering the thing to get most the sprinkles back into the container and if you can't do it on the first try then you're in a pickle because each time you move the board in the opposite direction (pouring direction) obviously more sprinkles will come out. So that function which makes it very appealing is almost pointless. If you DIY or if the manufacturers could've thought of it; making a way you can close a sliding latch or door to keep the extra sprinkles in while attached to the wide funnel. Maybe just tape; but the point of spending the money on this IS partially for the convenience not to add more frustration.I decided to just use a small amount of sprinkles as needed directly onto the "painting", close the lid, shake, then when done with that color you try to get the excess in the corner opposite form the funnel, THEN carefully attach the bottle and try to catch the spares. We still haven't got all of the sprinkles from the case, I have yet to try the anti-static dryer sheet trick another commenter mentioned (but I think it's the crevices and glue residue responsible in our case anyway; not static). I'll probably end up rinsing them out or using a vacuum. It keeps the sprinkles in during use which is the most important part, pretty much keeps the paper in place and for $12 it's a win! Our kids love the sensory experience of shaking it to make art. For $20 I'd be very deflated with the sprinkle dispensing issues.

Kept my little one busy
Got this when it was on sale. Kept my niece busy for some time. Came with everything that you need to get started. Could get messy and you do go through the materials fairly quickly but you could buy extras.

TIP TO AVOID STATIC
We just opened this for Christmas 2019 and my 6 year old is loving it. Having read reviews before purchasing and seeing a lot of trouble with static, I had an idea to solve that issue. Before we put in a paper, I rub a dryer sheet all over the inside on every spot I can access. So far I have done this before every picture she has made and we don't have any trouble with the balls remaining in the box from static. They all slide back into the container fairly easily. I am wondering if we can use this with glitter, but that might be a little messier. I can see the beads running out pretty quickly.

patience is a virtue
my kiddos was 7 when we got this. it was a neat fun, messy “looking” activity. easy clean up and play. it was easy to use. colors started to mix easy if the child doesn’t have the patience to wait for the glue to dry from the previous color you did.

Great gift
I got this for my niece for her 5th birthday and she’s in absolute heaven. She loves art and the way her face lit up when she opened it made it all worth it.

Sweet art set
I am very into crafty gifts for my daughter - she loves to open them and then it is built in entertainment for another day!
