A soft and light beekeeper's broom is the ideal tool to gently request for bees to temporarily leave their home. This specially designed beekeeper's broom easily frees honeycombs and the edges of honeycomb frames from bees. Made from extra soft, dense natural hair from the mane and tail of horses, this versatile brush can be used for a variety of household cleaning tasks in addition to its primary purpose. A wide brush head makes easy work of tidying up high-traffic areas or clearing large surfaces. The sloped tip easily navigates into corners and an easy-to maneuver oiled beechwood handle helps access hard-to-reach spaces. Brush measures 19-1/4" long and comes with a leather hanging strap for convenient storage. Suitable for the manufacture of brooms and hand brushes, the horsehair is cleaned, scoured and combed in a multi-stage process before being strung into the broom head. This finishing treatment ensures the utmost quality and optimizes the benefits of horsehair bristles. For maintenance, clean bristles with a mild soap and warm water solution. Towel blot to remove excess moisture and hang to air dry with bristles facing down to prevent damage to wooden handle.
