Did not like the goji or mulberry, pursued the “100% Money Back Guarantee-No Questions Asked”.
I ordered both the goji and mulberry. Shipping was super fast even during the pandemic. Packaging was clean, neat, the bags are thicker compared to other brands with a ziplock on them. Other brands I’ve purchased, all did not have that convenience. I was not that impressed with the taste or quality of the berries themselves, the goji was very hard, not plump and chewy like others. I did not find any stones referred to in other reviews in what little I tasted. The mulberries were the most scented and flavorful of the two, they also were dry and harder than other brand's, few were even crunchy, yeah, I know. Maybe I got bad batch runs, expirations were great, over a year+. I decided with money as it is during this pandemic that I’d seek a refund. But when I went to that faithful return button, it stated “not returnable” what? They state on both product pages “100% money back guarantee...no questions asked”...so what gives. I pondered it a for a few hours, then began my quest. I found through searching where you could send the seller an email, I explained my experience, and within few hours I had a very nice email stating my money had been refunded. Positively the fastest response of any company I’d dealt with. My only suggestion is that they make the return button workable and not make the customer jump through a few hoops for their supposedly “no problem guarantee”. It makes me question how many other customers whom found their products to be subpar and went through the same process and DIDN’T pursue a refund...they lost their money, in this day and time because of that buttons statement..

I do not recommend this brand at all
Contain rocks and dirt!!! On my second bite I ended up with 2 small rocks stuck in my teeth. Now I discovered some of them just covered with dirt! Some have little grass hair pieces stuck to them. Rather dry. I do not recommend this brand at all!!!

UPDATED REVIEW> The Seller saw my original review (see below), and offered me a replacement bag, which I accepted, and just received.> The replacement Golden Berries were much better -- moderately moist, moderately flavorful, and with a touch of sweetness. As I write, it is spring in Peru, so the Golden Berries were probably harvested 6-9 months ago. My bet is that they are as great as other reviewers describe if you purchase them in, say January to June (i.e., South American summer and fall) when they are relatively recently harvested.SUGGESTIONS> I find that just a few (5-7 per serving) golden berries, craisens, or (grape) raisins pops up the flavor of salads and many other dishes. I use both sweet and sour accents. Raisins or fresh fruit may good sweet accents. Golden Berries, craisins, olives, or capers make good sour accents. In addition to providing sweet/sour accents, the flavor of fresh golden berries also pops up many dishes. But use them sparingly.> A great diabetic snack is a bowl of golden berries (and/or other dried fruit), fresh apple slices, mixed nuts, chunks of cheese.ORIGINAL REVIEW> The reviews sounded great, but the Healthworks Organic Golden Berries I received were hard, dry, and very sour --- very different from the moist sweet "berries" of a different brand.> Note that so-called "golden berries" are "ground cherries" in American vernacular (which are a variety of tomatillo, which is a variety of tomato). The name "golden berries" is apparently a "made up" marketing name. Really, these a little dried tomatoes --- although good ones are sweet-tart and very tasty.

Hooo weeeee that's tart
Every brand of nightshade-related "Golden Berries" seems to taste completely different. They originate from the mountains of Peru, and are also known as ground-cherries, Pichuberry, Incan Berries, and Cape gooseberries (Physalis peruviana). Some brands may be hybridized with P. pubescens. There are several breeding programs to create new cultivars, a few of which get offered fresh and still in their paper-lantern-like husks. This brand dried Goldene Berry is from the original Peruvian strains. But they're grown throughout the world and the varioius nations' cultivars have a broad range of flavors. I'm delighted to be able to try the Peruvian original, which I think is the best one. These taste like citrus sweet-tarts. A good flavor though a bit strong for me to find ideal as out-of-the-bag snacks, the tartness makes my tongue curl. When you get used to the tartness they came become almost addictive as healthy snacks. Still, they're more ideal for somewhat savory sauces and for chutneys and jams. Mix them with pie-cherries for a cherry pie with mandarine orange undertones.Golden beeries get labeled a "super food" as that's kind of a popular term to throw around, but they're only moderately good for vitamins and minerals, typical of tart fruits for antioxidants, and when dried like these quite high in fibre. Good for ya, but most any dried fruits eaten without sugar added are good for you, that's basic rather than amped up or super.

Intensely tart and tasty berries
I'd never tried golden berries before, so I can't compare these to other brands, but they seem fresh and plump for dried fruit. I was a little shocked at how intensely tart they are, but they're sweet and delicious, too, with an interesting rubbery chewy texture and a slight crispy crunch from the seeds. I haven't quite figured out what to add them to because they seem like they'd overwhelm a lot of things, but eating a few of these tangy berries alone definitely wakes me up anytime I'm feeling a little sleepy. :) So with all of their health benefits, I'll probably be making these a regular part of my diet one way or another. Not sure if I'll ever get used to their extreme tartness, but I'll try!

Bad batch
I usually LOVE these white mulberries, but, this time they arrived very dry, hollow, and super crunchy and flavorless. I could eat them like rice Krispies but I'm afraid they might be like this because of bugs or laying in a bad location during the harvesting or shipping process. It's really surprising because they're usually amazing. Too bad
