we have a couple of these which are maybe 15 years old (different model) , which serve us very well.this newer version is lighter (hopefully with strong enough material), the back padding is thinner and there is no insulation layer to the backpack are for the water skin.has just enough space for enough water for a day hike (not talking scaling half dome here), including some sandwiches/snacks for 3-4 hikers. i love how you can fit it and make it snug on your back so you hardly feel it when hiking.well done high sierra, i love the fact you dont overcharge for stuff, this feels like a great buy.

I purchased two like over a year ago, and recently purchased another one for my sister. The quality is amazing, they are confortable and have been our backpack for one-day hiking many times. The bladder is not easy to clean but if you keep in the freeze it will work. The back pack has 4 pockets and I have squeezed snacks, medicines, light jacket, gloves, bathing suit, wallet, phone, etc.

The bag itself is solid. Knew the hydration system was what the comments said it was; garbage. Tossed it as soon as I unboxed this delivery. High Sierra bags have always been solid so I knew this wasn't going to be a waste of money at all. The straps always fit comfortably on any of their backpacks I've ever worn. You can also pack the heck outta this bag. Another thing I've loved about this brand is that the zippers have never caught. They zip smooth like butter but are still secure. Backpack is legit and bought it to be a backpack.

I just ran a Spartan obstacle course with this pack (bought it for this reason) and it was perfect. The included 2L water bladder was just enough for this race (4 miles), there were plenty of pockets for a small towel, inhaler, gloves, etc. This was very lightwieght and comfortable and stood up to the beating. The only issue I had was that I popped off one of the chest straps while climbing over an obstacle. However It looks like it was designed to come off like that since it didnt break or tear but is more like a plastic clip that simply popped off. I havent tried to put it back on yet so I cant say for sure.Overall though I am very happy with this pack.

Really like this bag. Lightweight, comfortable, and good colorway. I had a different water bladder already so I didn't try the one included with the bag. My only criticism is that the chest strap can detach too easily.

The media could not be loaded. I had a high sierra backpack for about 5 years and it was great. I loved it and was upset when it broke so I bought this one and am highly disappointed that after just a few weeks of owner ship I soaked my back and everything in it at work because it started leaking everywhere.

Super sac!

Buen espacio, solo necesario, logra caber una chamarra, snacks, cartera etcCon los ajustes, logra sentirse muy cómoda y el color muy lindo me parece muy práctica si es lo que necesitas. El material se ve de buena calidadlo único que mejoraría es el tubo de hidratación ya que por donde sale está algo duro y cuesta trabajo sacar el agua.
