Great price, works great
I was looking for a cheaper oscilloscope so that I could properly set the gains of my car audio amp. I have been using it to see when the amp clips but also training to pick it up by listening to the sound it makes when clipping. This works great however I would recommend buying a 10x probe for higher voltages as with my amp.EDIT* I forgot to add yesterday that a feature that would be cool to have would be being able to connect this to a laptop through the usb port. I tried a few different ways of doing it but didnt have any success. The reason behind it is the screen is really small and can be hard to see the exact moment the waveform starts to clip or square off. I had Hope's I could either mirror the oscilloscopes image to the laptop or to combine a windows oscilloscope software, using the oscilloscope and probe as a buffer/voltage divider. This may be impossible and I may look like an idiot even trying but just something I thought would be cool if it worked, in either of those cases.

Exceptional for the price.
While the voltage and frequency are not always perfectly spot on, they are within 10% of the real value all the time, most of the time within 5% actually. When I ordered this I didn't think it would offer much in terms of options but the button combinations provide a pretty good variety. The battery in mine is actually 350mAh, not 250. It is obviously missing the bulk of extra features that a fully sized, multiple hundred dollar scope has, as well as the absolute accuracy, but it has all the major/key features that a scope should have. My only gripe is not really about the product itself, but nonetheless, it draws very little current for charging the battery, and my power bank has a somewhat high cutoff current. My power bank automatically shuts off when charging this because of that.

Nice inexpensive o-scope to use on the go
I want to rate it 5 starts but the power switch did break soon after I used it a few times. I can still turn it on by carefully moving the switch by pinching with two fingers and sliding it up.I still think it is a nice little scope and it works well once you get the hang of it.If you move the probe to something with a different frequency you need to change the setting or use the AUTO mode to change the settings so that the frequency and whatnot displayed on the screen is correct.I cranked my signal generator up to 1Mhz and it did seem to measure correctly if I tapped the AUTO mode to set the frequency and voltage range.

Frequency accuarcy is OK Voltage is not OK
As far as I can tell using a 555 timer the frequency waveform is fairly accurate. However a 12.58V power supply as read by a multi meter reads at 10V on the DSO188 . So voltage accuracy not so accurate.

Pro usage a beginner can understand!
This is great and inexpensive. As a professional in IoT this tool is essential for detecting comm issues. I also use it in my power plant class to teach sine waves and AC powers. It allows students to see how power is generated! Also super handy small device that can fit in any bag or be integrated into control box.

Incredibly handy and useful tool
As I work on projects all around my lab, having a pocket-sized oscilloscope to quickly analyze signals is very helpful (rather than attempting to wheel one close to the project, or wheel the project close to the meter). When doing some quick logic and signal verification, it works well, and most of the time, this is all I need.

Handy and cheap
Great lifesaver if you just need to get a general idea of the waveform, it's not incredibly accurate and only has a single channel, but for the price it's worth it.
