One of my favorite bits from Amazon! This hand mixer is the real deal. The power that it has is amazing. The fact that the dial has ten settings is amazing because I could really dictate how much power I use. I never thought I would get something so powerful for such a low price. I am Puerto Rican and I made a sofrito with this handheld and it worked so well! I was shocked at how beautiful it came out and how easy it was to use! I have big hands and I could say that even in my hands it is a bit hefty but I like it. It was so easy to clean (I hand wash everything I don’t use a dishwasher) that it almost felt like I didn’t use it. The attachments are amazing and everything was good quality.

Dead serious. This is high quality and really looks great. I almost bought another brand before I decided on this one and I'm so glad I did. Has a good sturdy weight to it. Lots of power. My disabled son can't chew and we use this to blend up EVERY meal he eats. Not loud and doesn't get hot.

This is the 3rd stick blender I've owned. None were built as sturdy as this one. One nice feature it has is that the blade section locks onto the blender. To release you just push the release buttons. It's important because the last stick blender I owned didn't have this feature. That blender it got damaged when it was running and I couldn't use it again.Everything is metal and not cheap plastic like a lot of these stick blenders are. The accessaries are well built and should last a long time. I have used it to make cottage cheese ice cream and to puree cat food in the container that came with it. It really has a lot of power and can blend food well. When I put it in a bowl of soapy water to clean it, there is so much power it sucks the bowl up out of the sink.The only thing I wish it had was a stand because if you use it, setting it down directly on the counter top bothers me. I have to use a plate or something to stand it on.

I was using a single speed immersion blender to make my cat her food. She loves chicken liver as long as it's in paté form. She won't even eat store bought cat food anymore. But I digress.This immersion blender is head & shoulders above my old one & > haven't even used the other parts yet. I love the idea of a small food processor to cut up onion & garlic & chop up veggies for soups. This is going to get a lot of use!Cleaning was a breeze! Just rinse the stick under the faucet & spin the blades in a glass or bowl of sudsy water. The two extra little blades are tremendously helpful, making the food pull into the blades faster, thus easier on the hands. The turbo button is also a game changer acting as a kind of pulse action when something gets a little stuck. It cuts thru all those livers like buttah! Solidly built from what I can tell. Time will tell on how it holds up to regular usage.
