I am impressed with this grill cleaner “brush” (it is more of a heat resistant cloth covered sponge than a brush). I have been searching for a bristle-free safer grill brush. Prior to this I had tried two other safer bristle-free alternatives, one was a wound metal version and the other was a nylon grill brush. The nylon brush has stiff bristles, which scrubs fairly effectively, but can only be used on a cold grill, otherwise the nylon plastic bristles melt. And while it was effective at removing larger particles, it did leave behind a layer of greasy food debris on the grill grates still. The wound metal brush was similarly effective at removing large particles, but similarly left a layer of old food debris on the grill grates. This is my first time trying this type of grill brush, which isn’t really a brush at all but instead is apparently a heat resistant Kevlar material, and which resembles a cotton cloth material, and it must be dunked in cool water before use. I dunked it in a bowl of cool water and scrubbed my hot grill. It did a really remarkable job of cleaning the grill grates. They haven’t been that clean in a long time, definitely cleaner than these other two safer, bristle free brushes I tried, and also cleaner than my previous bristly grill brush. I am also impressed with how easy it was to clean with this, with no real scrubbing exertion required. Today, I also tried similar steam cleaning grill brush that had more of a fine metal mesh over a sponge, and that one works very similar to this one. I think you will be very pleased either of these. As you can see in my photos this cloth material quickly got quite dirty from greasy grill debris, after just one use, and rinsing it with plain water afterwards did not remove that much of it. I have attached two photos showing this grill brush after one use. I hope some of this information is helpful for you. This is a very effective grill brush, and I am quite happy with it. The main negatives are how the cloth material appears soiled after use, and also note that the round shape makes it more difficult to get in the rear corners of the grill.

The Bristle-Free BBQ Grill Brush has made cleaning the grill a much easier task! The brush isn’t great. It can’t get in between the bars on the grill (I’m using a Weber kettle). It only cleans the top of the grates and that’s it. A lot of food is left in between grates whereas a regular brush can get that off.

I wanted to love this, I really did. It just doesn't do the job though. It isn't sturdy enough to get rid of burnt on food. It also gets dirty quickly and I'm not sure if there is a way to clean the pads. I have found it useful to get rid of remnants after I use the wire brush.

First the positives: The scraper on this is amazing, really good for stuck on messes. We have been using this on our porcelain grills. I was a bit nervous about the scraper at first, whether it would scratch the porcelain finish, but I have been pleased that the scraper is strong enough to get stuck on debris, but doesn't harm the grill. The heat resistant fabric does well with a bit of water on grease.The less positive. unfortunately, if you scrub with any pressure, the head starts to unscrew. it leads to a lot of annoyance of having to tighten it back on several times while cleaning a grill.

I was skeptical but it's like doing a steam clean. I does an excellent job cleaning the top. Repeated applications seem to get the sides of the grill close to the same degree of clean. Easy to soak in a bucket of water for recharging the sponge.

Works better than I thought it would. I love it! Super happy with it.

I'm happy with this brush. Nice handle. The spare head is great to have, and easy to swap. These steam brushes do an outstanding job of cleaning up the grill, and are much safer then the metal bristle brushes. The round shape makes it a little more difficult to get in the grill corners.
