I got these to put under my looser hard shell knee pads for my bike. They fit snug, they look great, the padding is pretty thick.

Went flat on first time warn...not good

I've been using these for a little more than a week and the first time I slid them on you could hear a rip sound. So you have to be careful while putting them on not to stretch them too far or the material will rip. The padding is ok I would have hoped it was better. The elasticity of the material is ok for walking around but with too much movement they are sliding down. Maybe I should have gone down a size but I feel then they would have been too tight and would not have lasted as they've already shown they are prone to ripping.

I ordered these because my knees are bad and when I'm doing cleaning, tidying, and/or organizing, I need a cushion for when I'm kneeling. I didn't want to keep carrying something around that I could kneel on.The size I ordered, I think L/XL are a bit too large at both ends, but for my purposes that doesn't matter. I just need cushioning I can wear and these wok. The surface of the padding is a semi-rigid shell that helps with impact. (I'm not the most graceful of middle-aged women.)They do feel cheap though: thinner fabric, opened ends that have easily misshapen elastic, and the padding itself feels like it won't take to long to become permanently flattened.They're very helpful for me though and make a good chunk of my life vastly more comfortable. 👍🏻

We got these for our daughter that loves to play volleyball and basketball. It was painful to watch her skid across the gym floor on her bare knees, you know, that awful squeal that is made as flesh slides across a shiny gym floor and you grab your knees in sympathy pain while cringing and clinching your teeth. Yeah, these knee pads have solved that pain for her parents and others that have to endure such a spectacle.The pads are comfortable for her to wear, stay in place and the cushion in the front makes going down on the knees for a "dig" not a big deal anymore. Also has saved on bandages and athletic wrap too.Recommend for your teen/pre-teen athlete -- or for you if you can still bend your knees and still love to abuse them on gym flooring.

The product pictures do not reflect how mediocre these "compression" pads are.The medium size is only 9 inches long. There is not enough length above and below the knee brace, only approx 3/4 inch, to keep the pads in place. The knee braces are sewn crooked and the stitching is lousy. There is no compression effect one would expect due to its short length, the pads need constant adjusting.The asking price is above what other quality sport knee pads cost.

These knee pads are definitely not supportive knee sleeves, as described. When I received them, I realized these are simply knee pads, nothing more. The pads are mounted to a very thin lining that I don't think will hold up over the long haul. Despite all this, I have come to really like these pads. I decided to use them when gardening, and they work great! Because the lining is thin, they are comfortable and cool. I'm 5' 10" and 185 lbs, and they fit snugly and comfortably. They slip on and don't strap on, so I have to remove my shoes to put them on and take them off. I don't like the inconvenience but these are more comfortable than strap-on knee pads. These are working great for my use, but be aware of how these function compared to your needs.
