FastCap JACK The Jack of All Trades
This clamp/jack is awesome! From manufacturer: The Jack can lift cabinets as high as 15-3/4 inches, with a load capacity of 100 pounds. The maximum clamp width is 13-3/4 inches. I use these clamps/jacks to install cabinets. Using it as a jack, you can lift the cabinet to level, then shim. Done. I have also used the jacks to install sheet siding. It is very hard to place sheet siding on a wall, lift it into place, and nail by yourself. By placing the sheet siding against the wall, you then use the jacks to raise sheet siding into place, and nail. Done. These clamps/jacks work well for clamping as well. I've seen these for years, but never used any until recently. Excellent product.

Like Having 2 Extra Hands
I was skeptical, but these little guys proved themselves. I was able to lift one end of a couch by placing the two jacks 12 inches apart on one end of the couch. They lifted the couch enough for me to get a furniture roller under it on that end. Then I removed the jacks, placed them on the other end and put another furniture roller under that end of the couch. Next, I used them in the same fashion to lift a stacked washer/dryer unit in order to put appliance roller under the unit.Caveat - Be careful not to place your limbs (hands, fingers, feet, etc.) under the elevated load unless absolutely necessary. Every time that I used the jacks to lift, I placed a wood block under the load. That way if the load slipped off the jack, my fingers wouldn't get crushed as I was placing the furniture roller under the load. The "L" shaped lift bracket could stand to be 2" longer and the footing base a little larger, but they got the job done.Well worth the money!!!!

Great for flooring
I bought a pair to install 500 sq/ft of 5/8 pre-finished bamboo flooring. Like another reviewer said, I have to commend Amazon.com for their service. One arrived damaged, and Amazon.com overnighted a replacement. Kudos to them. The quick clamp feature was good when I had to do a 180 degree turn to square up and install custom tongues, and the jack feature is invaluable for racking the planks when I'm so close to the wall that I can't even use my T&G pneumatic nailer. They paid for themselves on the first use. A definite must have if you plan to do any serious wood floor installs.
