This was bought as a Christmas gift for my 4-month-old great-grandson. Because you can warm it up it's very soothing.Very much appreciated by his parents!

We order one of these for our daughter. She loves cows and asked for a heating pad stuffed animal. We ordered one. The first time she heated in the microwave, per provided instructions, the whole kitchen smelled horrible. After holding the stuffed animal, we has to was our hands several times to get the smell off. It is not lavender. It is more of a moldy chemical smell. It is really bad if you are sensitive to smells.We returned it and ordered another to replace it. The new one has the same issue. We will be returning that one as well.

Granddaughter who’s 6 years loved the fact she could warm it for bed time cuddles but she HATED the lavender smell. I would suggest an unscented option. Older granddaughters loved it.
