Has fruity notes, but beans could be fresher
I needed a fruity light roast quick & found this available for next day delivery via prime.Down side is that instead of a roast date, it says AMZ Batch that is a month old. In theory this is okay as a light roast needs 2 weeks to settle but please add specific roast dates at this price point.I brew it as an espresso & I get the notes promised. I found the flavour profile to be Pineapple & Mango in acidity moreso than taste. Whereas the sweetness & taste of the coffee is more jam/plum/berry-like.You can get better tasting coffees for the price point but I'd be interested in giving this a go as a filter too.

Good quality
This is a good quality coffee with a nice flavour. I'm not a coffee connoisseur so can't go into minute detail about flavour notes but it was enjoyable. I don't like my coffee too strong and this had a nice balance to it.I'm fortunate enough to have a proper espresso machine and these beans produced a nice crema, although like any other new coffee it took a few attempts through trial and error to get the right grind size for the best results. The bag came with a roasted on date sticker, which was just a few days before the bag arrived in the post. Without going straight to a roaster you can't get fresher than that, which is great. The use by date was a full 12 months from the roasted on date but for best flavour use as soon as possible.

Fairly astringent taste
I find this coffee isn't particularly tasty, and find even with fairly significant adjustments to my recipe I can't get a tasty brew from it.

Unique flavour
I have only really tried dark or medium roast coffee beans. I find them to generally have the same kind of flavour profile. I’m used to it, and I like it.These beans, however, are a completely different kind of flavour. These are described as a very light roast, with notes of various fruits. I have a fully automatic bean to cup espresso machine which grinds the beans for me, so that’s what I used it in. So far I’ve tried it in a latte, mild coffee, and iced latte. You can really smell the fruity fragrance of the beans straight away when brewing. It creates a lovely espresso shot with a great crema (the white in the crema on my picture is due to the added condensed milk). The coffee has a beautiful taste - slightly bitter, light, and fruity/sharp. It’s a really interesting flavour and definitely different to what I’ve had before. The packaging is attractive and it’s easy to see what you’re drinking and where it’s from. It does feature one of my pet peeves though - advertising social media pages for the brand which have no content on them or haven’t been updated in around 5 years. Not much point advertising that?I would highly recommend this coffee!

Rich, fruity, sweet and delicate
This Ethiopian style coffee is delicious. It has an incredible flavour profile and aroma. To start the aroma is almost a chocolate cherry scent, making me think of Black Forest gateau. It certainly felt very grown up from the start. The beans come whole, lightly roasted but still dark enough to carry that bitterness. I ground them to a super fine grind and brewed them in my stove pot to a double espresso. The aroma was still present and even more enticing. I couldn’t wait to try it. When I took my first sip I was delighted with how smooth it was, and then hit suddenly by the fruity notes that run through the coffee. It was thoroughly enjoyable and if you’re after a great smooth and delicate espresso then this is perfect.

Not as intense
I got the 1kg bag after having tried the smaller version, and for some reason it didn't have the same intense taste and smell. Same flavour, just...tuned down really.

Lovely tasting coffee
We Are Coffee Co’s 227g Bag of Whole coffee Beans is a great taster bag that, if you’re anything like me, will be all you need to convert yourself over to We Are Coffee CO’s coffee! It’s a single origin bean that’s a light roast, which is certainly my favourite profile type and tastes absolutely lovely. The taste is a light bean but a light profile of citrus, with a red berry and plum lighter taste. Absolutely lovely and really recommended.
