Used this for fire door surveys where need to accurately and quickly measure the gaps between the door and the frame.Easy to use and easy to read & quicker than having a set of multiple fixed gap measuring pieces.

Bought this for use at work as I had to survey all the fire doors. Very useful piece of kit at a cheap price, much easier than trying to judge gaps with a tape measure. The “blingy” gold colouring is an interesting choice but can’t fault it’s usefulness.

This is a simple tool, and it seems to do it's job well, of measuring gaps.It's solidly made, mostly of metal but with a plastic handle. I can't complain in this regard.The numbers are easy to read.Overall, good tool.

We're having some doors replaced, and wanted to make sure the gap is the same underneath the new ones as the remaining doors, so they match. This little device is exactly what we needed, and it does the job perfectly.The only reason for four stars instead of five is the slightly cheap appearance, and it's a bit bling for a serous tool. It would have looked more the part in anodised aluminium, with contrasting colour markers. Maybe that's just my personal taste, but there we are.This is solidly made from metal, and the measurements are indented, not just painted on. The sliding marker stay where it's put, which is good.
