Multi use
I ordered this because of its multi-use and so far it has worked okay. It is a little harder to work with than what I am used to, but with a little patience it works.

finally a solder that worked for me
Tried a couple different solders I had around the house to solder up a gas tank supply to lengthen up for a 38 gallon tank install on a Ford truck. It is a common switch to get a larger tank than the 19 that comes in them. Unfortunately no one makes the proper supply and one has to be modified for the 19 gallon tank, and solder does not want to stick to whatever alloy they use on to make them. This finally did the job, and I now have a fuel supply and fuel sensor that will work thru 90% of the fuel supply in the tank. I can live with that. Seems to be good solder, and I have plenty left to use on other projects. Used maybe 1/3 of a tube for the 4 spots I had to solder the pick up tubing to extend, and the 2 spots that I welded up for extending the float

Super Versatile Solder Wire
I decided to try this Essmetuin special core solder wire because of the versatility is claimed in the product listing. It's said to work on stainless steel, nickel sheet, zinc flake, copper, iron sheet, and aluminum and I must say, while I haven't used it on all those materials, out of the ones I have worked with (stainless steel, copper and aluminum) I'm very impressed! It has come in handy for a few electrical projects I've had to do over the past few months, and it definitely gets the job done and the bond is stronger than the solder wire that came with the soldering iron I picked up. I definitely recommend this to anyone in need of good quality solder wire.

Works great
It is designed for soldering stainless steel, nickel sheets, zinc flake, copper, iron sheets, and aluminum. This solder wire is indeed a special product, featuring a unique flux that makes soldering typically challenging materials more manageable. While you may not encounter the need for such soldering often, there are situations where it becomes essential. Recently, I had to assemble several battery packs using 18650 cells connected with nickel sheets. Typically, this type of soldering requires an expensive spot welding machine, which is not cost-effective for one-time use. This is where this solder wire came in handy. It's worth noting that this solder wire requires a higher temperature compared to regular soldering. You'll need a high-power soldering iron to complete the job effectively. It's primarily suited for welding small metal parts, but it does offer satisfactory joint strength for my needs. However, it's essential to mention that this solder wire contains 37% lead, which is not environmentally friendly. Also, it's crucial to ensure complete heating of the welding part before use to achieve reliable results.

Works with a small soldering pen.
I got this to create some small battery packs by connecting 18650 batteries together with copper wires for a small solar panel project. I have a small soldering pen and the solder melted easily on the medium setting. So far so good. The packs are holding together well.

Helpful.
This solder is helpful when regular 60-40 just doesn't want to stick. It's not quite as nice to work with, but it does stick where the normal stuff doesn't. I have not tried it on all of the materials listed in the description; but so far, it's hasn't let me down.
