Burgon & Ball RHS Endorsed Flower and Fruit Snip, 19 cm Length

These are really sharp and useful for all sorts of light pruning around the garden. They are comfortable in the hand and easy to carry in the pocket

Compact, sharp, useful in many ways where secateurs are too cumbersome. Light jobs only but capable of cutting through quite thick stalks etc.

These were a present but I have used mine for many years. The only downside is the leather thong holding them together does not last long which is a bit annoying..

Replacement for favourite garden tool. So far excellent- easy to use, sharp and strong

These are nice and sharp snips for soft stems, but nothing much more. I used them on a very thin but woody stem, where there shouldn't have been any problem or need for secateurs, but they instantly kinked on me, and I've been unable to sand out the issue :-(The other annoying thing about these is that the rubbery loop to hold them closed is really fiddly to put on - would be much easier with a proper catch rather than a cheap thing that is no better than an elastic band.Definitely not worth the price tag or the RHS endorsement - I shall stick to my Aldi snips!

Much better than pruners for lighter and finer trimming. ++

I use these snips for cutting flowers from my garden. Mostly dahlias and chrysanthemums. Also perfect for dead heading roses, and cutting back perennials.

Very nice to handle. Could be a bit bigger but aesthetically very pleasing. Not for use in the kitchen.
