Product is good and works as expected IF you have common sense.
This pump works very well for my purposes. I needed it to transfer premixed boat fuel into the boat tank so I don't have to lift the 5 gallon containers anymore. It does the job quite well. I have used it about 10 times and the batteries are still strong and it pumps a good volume consistently. I recommend it for such purposes. Of course, for the low cost, it isn't absolutely fool proof with spark arrestor, drain back check valves, super sturdy hose, auto shutoff, etc. But to get a pump certified for petro fuels the price isn't worth it if you just need an occasional few gallons pumped into lawn mower or boat. I'm happy with this given the way I use it and the precautions I apply when I do.

Works great
I wish that the democrats wouldn't have ruined gas cans by mandating the ridiculous "safety" devices in the hole in the gas can, grr, and the ridiculous spouts...The reason I went on that rant was that one of the cans I bought the pump for has one of those @#$% devices and I have to wait until I empty it to try and cut out the inconvienent, annoying "safety device" so I can use the pump in the can...Look at your can first, modify it before you order the pump (which works great). No, you can't go buy a new one without the #$%& device, they ALL have them. However... Harbor Freight has one with a very flimsy net instead of the infernal hard plastic device, hint hint... It looks like someone in R&D was aware of the stupid new device and knows that we will try to remove it so they put in a VERY easy to remove thing that would pass the regulatory muster...

saves my shoulders and back from having to hold larger gas cans
this thing worked like a champ when I siphoned 5 gallons of gas from the gas can into my truck. took just a couple of minutes. best is that I didnt have to hold it upside down while depressing the spout's valve...very awkward position like with my current gas can...just insert the siphon into the gas can, secure the output side to the gas tank tube, press the power button. I bought this mainly to use out on the water to fill up my boat's tank so that there wouldnt be any spills into the water. this thing will do just that.***EDIT after 2nd use***I tried to siphon gas again from my gas can to my car and this time it wouldnt even turn on. I swapped out batteries and still no go. Put old batteries into my flashlight and they light up bright so it is not the battery. And the return window just closed a few days ago. Glad this happened before I went out deep sea and run out of gas and not be able to siphon gas out of the gas can into the boat's gas tank. NOT happy with this purchase whatsoever.

It worked well to winterize my pressure washer
It was easy to use, I especially appreciated the outlet hose clipped to the receiving can.My main concern is there are no instructions on maintaining the pump. I need it 2x year, and worry about pump seizing after 6 months of storage

Great portable liquid transfer pump.
I've been in HVAC service for 37 years and finally found an easy solution to emptying those emergency condensate drain pans. We used to have to siphon the water or use a drill pump with water hoses connected to each end. With this versatile pump that may be powered off 2 D batteries, or 6 AA batteries using the included adapters, it makes it quick and less cumbersome to pump sometimes up to 30 or more gallons that can easily accumulate in the pan. Now I just pump the water into the primary drain after clearing the line clog. The reason I originally ordered this was to pump fuel from my 5 gallon gas cans into my generators. But before I neededbit for that, I had a situation where I needed to pump water. I was so impressed with the quality and transfer rate that I purchased a 2nd one for pumping gas.5 Star rating from me.⭐️ Quality⭐️ Value⭐️ Ease of use.⭐️ Versatility⭐️ Performance

Painless task
I cannot speak to the durability as i have only used it once. I needed to drain the fuel from my golf cart, and this little tool did it in less than a minute. No leaks and hose was of sufficient length to reach my gas can. Great for low volume transfers.

Poor construction
I was disappointed in the cheap construction. Within days moisture had ruined two D batteries and after replacing them the unit failed to function.
