poor poor design, and quality!
Put in water to test and found it would not prime. Determined it was sucking air somewhere. Would prime when submerged,so I decided to tolerate it. ( It's for a livewell) I then pulled the wires and decided to put pump in place and the inlet tube fell off. Someone decided to put a threaded sleeve in bottom rather than threading the body, but obviously forgot to glue it in. I than decided to plug it and use the side inlet, which would not work even when submerged.There were so many other things that were poorly designed I sent it back and ordered an attwood like I should have. I also installed a shoeline float, and all I can hope is that it's better than that other plastic thing, ( It's not a pump ).

Great pump.
Great through the hull pump that can go 90 degrees down or slighty higher than 45 degrees out the back. And boy does it pump some water to the livewell and gives great O2. Keeps fish alive all day with this one.

Quality control is somewhat lacking
I haven't actually installed or used this yet. When I opened the box, I found that I needed to change the outlet configuration. Upon disassembly, I found that the o-ring seal was smashed and not installed properly. This would have caused considerable leakage. Fortunately it is a common size o-ring and was easily replaced.
