Holidays Around the World: Celebrate Christmas: With Carols, Presents, and Peace

This is an attractive book, but it is very childish and has almost no information in it. The age range on this is 6-9 but it really is for 4-6 (to be read to them, not for them to read). The reading level is simple, so it is appropriate for young kids. The material is very simple and uninformative. My 9 year old son has no interest in this book and I am not sure what I am going to do with the book.

This books is written with a very western view point. It does not show Christmas around the world. It more so shows European Christmas and American Christmas. Disappointed in this book. Is not authentic.

Got this for classroom use for more info about celebrating Christmas other places. Not the best, but not the worst either.

Uninformative. Not around the world. Very few photographs and explanations of Christmas traditions anywhere in the world. Reads like someone went on a few trips at Christmas and took a few pictures.

I used this beautiful book in my classroom to supplement my Christmas Around the World library. Beautiful pictures for children to look at. The text may be hard for younger readers though.

Didn’t look the same as the picture

This book was just okay, not at all as i expected. Cover alone is very deceiving to me. I thought it would have lots of poems a more of a table top book.
