My computer won`t start while the fan is still plugged in one of it`s USB`s
I have plugged the fan in to my PC 2 days ago, all fine now yesterday morning and this morning my PC would not start at all, the power supply would not turn on. I unplugged everything and plugged them back, my PC still did not start then I decided not to plug in the fan and my PC started no problem. Now since this happened twice and I am not fond of "heart attacks" in the morning. I asked for advice on the matter and was told that if the power supply detects a short it will not start also apparently the USB port on a computer is not capable of providing enough voltage to power up the fan. So I either use the fan only when the computer is already on and remember to unplug it when I switch it off or just use a phone charger to power the thing on.
