This helped my "I want to die" orchid flourish within a week! It is amazing, completely clean moss- no extra dirt in there. My orchid loves this. The 2 quart bag was enough for a large orchid pot and probably 3/4 of a smaller pot. I will definitely use this for all my orchids.

I really didn't have much hope about ordering this bag of moss and rocks. The price seems really high for what you get but I have to say the moss was absolutely fresh, it did not crumble and does it's job of holding moisture. The bag is a good size and I bet you could get two pots full from this bag at least. This is my first orchid plant and when in full bloom had 11 huge white flowers on the one stem.I needed new medium since I knew this plant was packed to the gills with old coconut fiber and I was right. Huge roots with one 18 inches long! I regret not putting it in a larger pot. I thought the rule was go up one pot size but with those roots, I wish I would have gone up 2 sizes.I discovered when I cut the flower stem a new bud came out on the old stem. So this plant has put out 11 flowers, put out a whole new leaf in the month of January, and is fixing to bloom again since October 2021. That new stem seems to grow before my eyes so I am anxious to see how many flowers she can put out in a new pot with correct medium.

Varied airy medium excellent for orchids

This potting soil allows the orchid to retain moisture while not soaking the roots. Great aeration.
