I bought this for my 9 year old niece; she loves candy (of course) and has an interest in creating and making things so I figured she'd like the chemistry beh8nd candy. She loved it and her 13 year old cousin even got in on it and asked for her own. I will be ordering her one as well!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. I think her favorite part is the gummies. She loves making food and giving it to her siblings.

Shame on me for not looking at the fine details of the product. Contents not worth the money. No food supplies in kitchen nor does the front page "additional things you will need" list actually list everything you need for food supplies, so you have to go through the entire manual to figure out what you need. Save yourself the hassle and money and Google experiments.

this provided clear insturctions and a number of interesting experiments. it however was way over pirced, I would not recommend purchase again. you can look up many of the experiments on line. the kit did provied some excellent Christmas day activities for the entire family

It was a big hit with my daughter who is scientific and loves to cook. Perhaps these recipes could have been looked up on the internet and done some other way but having them in a set gave her a focus point for some good times learning the science and making the candy. The reality is, while we could do that, we probably would not think of it but having this nice chemistry set gave her the inspiration to make the stuff in the book and have a great time doing it. We also enjoyed eating the output and seeing the different chemical states the components of the candy go through at different temperatures.

For $35 you would expect to get the food coloring and some of the ingredients to make the candy.

This lot comes with a lot in it. Very fun for kids and even adults.

Cute product! This made such a wonderful gift. I didn’t use it but the child was happy to receive it and so excited to use it!
