Not useful or embroidery work
I use these to fill-in spaces where my embroidery did not completely go to the edge or left a stitch behind. The colors are not as bright, nor the variety of colors that I use. I will stick with the sharpie brand because they work best.

Fabric markers
These markers were used to fill in spots on a quilt I was giving to a coworker. There was no bleeding, and any bleeding problem came from my coworkers inability to stay in the lines. The colors have remained sharp. A great v as lue for the money.

Close to great
These markers are so close to great that their few shortcomings are extremely frustrating. Those that I've found so far are:1. There are a number of colors that are so similar to each other that I can barely tell them apart--three of the blues and two of the oranges and pinks. Meanwhile, some colors that I'd consider pretty basic, like turquoise, peach, and tones in the khaki-tan-beige range, are completely absent. (This includes some colors that appear on the designs on the package, which I'd consider deceptive.) There are three seemingly random fluorescent colors--two pinks that are almost identical and one orange--not the normal assortment you'd see in a typical six-pack (pink, orange, purple, blue, green, yellow).2. Also, the cap colors don't necessarily represent accurately the colors of the pens inside. This can make it super-hard to find what you're looking for and can force you to try out multiple pens in the same color group to determine which is closest to what you want. So far, I've resorted to numbering the tips of my blues from darkest to lightest. And you'd never guess from the caps that any of the markers in this set were fluorescent.3. The colors did not come arranged in the box in a natural sequence but were all mixed together almost randomly--no big deal; I've arranged mine the way I want them--just not very thoughtful.4. Also, the box doesn't securely hold the pens in place. When you pick it up, the pens sometimes fall out of the single-file line and bunch up together in groups. This is probably mainly because the package is so long. I'm spoiled by the pen manufacturer Pentel, which has a great method of securely packaging large amounts of markers.5. There was one color that had already faded considerably--you can see how one part of the nib is still saturated with it while the rest has largely blanched away.6. It's interesting how the logo and basic design of these pens is the same as a couple of other brands of fabric marker on this site. Typical for Chinese goods--one businessperson will sometimes create multiple companies all offering the same basic product because they actually sell more stuff that way!Now on to the good stuff. I really haven't experimented too much yet or seen how marked items fare through a wash cycle, but I'll try to add to this review later once I've had more experience.1. I love the dual-tip feature, which provides ease of use and versatility.2. The pens are a great size and shape to use comfortably and ergonomically--for my hand, at least.3. I was impressed with the precision; easy, even flow; and saturation of these markers. They feel professional--believe me, I've used markers that didn't.4. The caps of both sides of the pen are interchangeable and one can be snapped onto the other for easy holding when the pen is in use. I used to take this last feature for granted until I bought a well-regarded pen set whose caps actually could not be snapped onto the pen ends! There's no excuse for making caps that will become one more thing in the way, lost, or fallen on the floor.5. One of these pens did a really great job of covering up some accidental bleach marks on one of my shirts. In this case, I was lucky enough to have a pen almost exactly the same color as my shirt. To get the marker to blend in perfectly, I marked the spots and then applied some stain remover stick to them, rubbed it in and let it set a few moments, then rinsed it out, rubbing until the colors looked as blended as possible. The stain remover made the pen marks bleed just enough to blend like watercolors, and I guess this worked because I hadn't let them sit for 24 hours yet after applying. I had to do this procedure a number of times on each spot before I got the perfect effect, but I'm so glad this is possible. I have a number of items that have gotten marred by bleach or fading, and this way, I can potentially restore them all! This was actually my reason for buying this pen set, but since I have an artistic bent, it would be really fun to try them for decorative applications, too. (I had mixed success trying this same procedure using two colors together to approximate turquoise.)6. The pens and container have a simple, aesthetically appealing design, which I think is especially called-for in an art product!

Awesome Markers
I purchased these items to utilize on my stole, allowing my students to write on it, and the result is quite charming. They were intended for my clinical teaching, and I highly recommend acquiring these if you plan to use them on cotton or even silk. Their performance is exceptional.🫶🏻
