Honey Flavor Without The Mess
Product: Judee's Honey Sweetener Granules 4 ozThis is a sugar and honey combination in granule form. That’s all it contains: cane sugar and honey. I like the simplicity of the ingredients. The granules are larger and coaster than refined sugar. It’s not quite as sweet as the equivalent amount of sugar only. The honey flavor is subtle, again because it’s a blend. I’ve been using it in my tea, and I like it.My bag had a two year shelf life, which is pretty good. I like this for a couple of reasons. By two years my honey is crystallizing and I have to heat it to be able to use it. It’s also not as messy as using honey. I don’t get sticky everywhere. It dissolves quickly and completely. The bag is resealable, so it stays fresh. I also like that it’s a product of the US.If I’m wanting a stronger flavor of honey, like for a glaze or dressing, I still use my regular honey. But if I’m wanting to add just a touch of sweetness and honey flavor, I use this. I love the ease and convenience of it.

All the taste of honey, without the sticky or crystallization in the jar. Perfect for ice tea, or anything you would normally use refined sugar.

Great in tea; easy to use; good shelf life
This is a pretty simple product consisting of cane sugar and honey that is produced in granular format. As such it's very easy and mess-free to use compared with liquid honey for items such as tea. Granted, it's not 100% honey so you are getting some cane sugar, but the convenience and the mess-free format makes for a decent trade off, in my opinion. I'm very pleased with the taste when used with tea. It's also very nice as a garnish/sprinkle on baked goods where you'd normally use a dusting of granular sugar. This adds the honey flavor/sweetness, making it have more taste appeal than using granular sugar alone. It's made in the US, which is a plus. The pouch I received in May 2022 has a best by date of May 2024. Two years is a pretty good shelf life but, as with any granular sugar/honey product, it needs to be sealed up well during the more humid months. The price per ounce is much higher than granular sugar, but I don't consider it out of range considering that this is unique blend of sugar and honey. Five stars.

These granules have a subtle sweetness
I like to use honey in my tea. I usually have a couple teaspoons of honey to each cup. I feel that these granules have more of a subtle sweetness. As compared to liquid honey, I feel you may need to add just a little bit more of these granules to equal the sweetener you would get from the same portion of liquid honey. I will say that these granules are so easy to take with you. You can pour them into a small container and bring them with you if you’re going to be out and about. So the fact that they are transportable is a huge plus. I like that they came in a Ziploc bag that is a very thick foil bag. I was wondering what I was going to store these in when I received them, but when I saw the bag I knew that they would be perfectly safe stored in the bag that I received them in. I like the taste, I feel they are easy to use and they seem to be all natural. I will say that I feel they are a bit pricey but for all of the other advantages they offer, I feel the price is worth it.

Tastes like sugar
No complaints about the taste of this sweetener. Nice and sweet. I only add a sweetener when I drink tea. I did add a teaspoon and enjoyed the cup. Was sweet enough for me.I haven't tried it in a cake yet. That will be done this weekend when the outside temperatures drop a bit.For cookies, I make a minimum of quadruple batters. I have to use so much sugar that this isn't really cheap enough for the very large batches I need to make up.For single recipes, this would be perfect.I did put a moisture pack in the air tight container I put this sweetener in. Should last me a while.

An interesting way to get a subtle honey flavor
The emphasis here is on the word SUBTLE. I like honey, but I don't love it - so I actually prefer this over the liquid form. We've tried it in tea, sprinkled on yogurt, and even sprinkled on roasted carrots. Worked well across the board. This product does contain sugar in addition to honey - so if your goal is to reduce your sugar intake this isn't going to help much, but if the goal is to get a slightly sweet and very mild honey flavor you're in luck. It's not as sweet as either just sugar or just regular honey, either; you'll need more of it to get a sweeter effect. I think it's perfect, though... It gives you a healthier way to add a little sweetness to foods and beverages without overly processed sugars (or worse, artificial sweeteners) or drowning your items in sticky honey. It's a little expensive, but bees work hard and I'm sure the process to create the powder takes some effort as well, so only losing one star for the price and the (almost overly) mildness of the honey flavor.
