LOVE it!
Subtle differences over the standard bullet space pen are SO worth it!The flat top make it easy to know which end is which and make it slightly shorter when close - which is the whole point, pun intended, of this pen style. The clip is a MUST HAVE! Without the clip it's easy to loose - rolling off everything and/or slips through pen loops. Plus this is fixed, not a slip-on add-on.The matte black finish is very easy to hold, no fingerprints, not inclined to slip out of pockets or loops. Very stealthy! If I do ever loose it, I will definitely buy it again. If gifting, it comes in a really nice plastic case - great for repurpose to hold small items.

I love my old Space Pen and love the pocket clip on my new one!
I've posted a picture of the Space Pen I've carried in my pocket daily for 20 years. It's been looking old and beat up for a long time and I thought I would get a new one for myself and the red one for my daughter who wasn't born when I got my old one. The story goes that a million dollars went into the development of this pen that the astronauts could take into space and write in zero-G. The punch line was that the Russian sent their astronauts up with a pencil! :) Even so, I very much prefer my Space Pen and have never had to worry about whether it would write or not.

“O” No!
The O-ring is too thin. The cap comes off WAY too easy. Everything else is great, but if you lose your new pen, your not gonna be happy. This may be as easy as buying a larger O-ring somewhere.

^^^ Fountain pen guy here
The ink can write ANYWHERE and in ANY POSITION. You really can't go wrong with a pen like this. Its bulletproof. But I don't necessarily "enjoy" writing with it. The ink is slower and and more viscous than a fountain pen, and also most regular ball-point pens. I mean the ink is incredible, so I guess this is the only downside to it overall. I very much prefer writing with a fountain pen, but I also enjoy handing this to someone and saying "you know, that can write in space." :D

My Mont Blanc now has a layer of dust.
For years, I carried very expensive pens. I've always appreciated the beauty of fine pens, but rarely do they work well unless you use them frequently. I can't count the times I've given my pen to someone to sign a contract, and it ends up not working. Yes, that means you Mont Blanc! Now, I exclusively carry Space Pens. They may not be as beautifully crafted, or carry the noticeable status, but they write anywhere, anytime, any place, and at any angle. I've never seen a pen that can compare in dependability. Thus, I will forever carry a Space Pen...unless Mont Blanc and others wise up and strike a deal on their refills...

Great pen, very portable.
Looks and writes great. Excellent edc tool. The cap with the flattened end looks better than the regular bullet pen.

Don't like the cap fit
Bought this squared cap because I liked the different look from my old bullet pen. The cap feels just a bit shorter because when closed, the pen doesn't feel secure. I like the aesthetics but given the chance, I'd go with the original shaped cap.

Carry size is great!
It’s shorter than the average bullet pen by Fischer but still holds well expanded.

Good EDC pen
Despite the advertisement that it works underwater, that may only be true for all temperatures at 1 bar. It may not work when submerged in supercritical water at high pressures and temperatures above 110C. It may also freeze in antarctica or in siberia. In most situations you are likely to encounter, it writes. Not amazingly well, and a gel pen or a fountain pen will give a more satisfying result on good paper (the result is slightly better than with a pencil), but it will work on basically every surface and in the vast majority of situations.

Consigliato

Excellent Pen. Great Value
A great product to carry in a jacket pocket. Writes while held at any angle. Long lasting ink cartridges.
