I'm really happy with this purchase
I'm really happy with this purchase! Are these the most comfortable shoes ever? No. Are they comfortable enough? Absolutely.I took these on vacation and was a little worried because I didn't have a proper chance to break them in before I wore them. Luckily they fit fairly comfortably to begin with and only got more comfortable from there! I've used them for work now and I take the train and walk around the city a lot and I never got a blister or had any uncomfortable rubbing. They don't have the best cushion in the soles, but otherwise, they're super flexible, fit to your foot and are super stylish/versatile.I hate how fast I go through my flats; I normally walk them into the ground within months. I can see these are made to last a long time and I love that! I also read that they're machine washable, which is pretty freaking awesome. Cant wait to try that out.I'll probably buy 5 more pairs in different colors. :)

I really wish they made half sizes... Mel/Crocs Comparison... Slingback vs Flats
I ended up buying two sizes of this shoe since I am between sizes - the Cherry color in 8 and the Licorice in 7. As I feared, the Cherry in 8 turned out too loose and the 7s a bit too snug. I originally thought I'd be keeping the 8 so wore the Cherry pair out. It was very hot that day and let me tell you these stretch in the heat. The 8 "breathed" great since they were so loose and I didn't experience any sweating, rubbing or squeaking. However I walked out of my shoes about 5 times in the course of the day and they now feel a half size bigger than they came from the heat. They have only shrunk back to original size minimally. I have put cotton balls in the front temporarily to help me stay in them because I love the red, but this is uncomfortable. I have to figure out what to do with them :( It's impractical to commute in shoes I cannot keep on my feet.I decided the next day to try the same with the size 7 pair that initially felt too snug. As I expected, they did stretch out with heat and walking, though unfortunately it was not as hot as the previous day and they have not yet stretched out enough. I did experience foot sweating and squeaking, though no blisters (and I commute to work - take train and then walk around 4 1/2 miles daily to work). I washed them by hand and then dried them in the dryer tonight and feel them stretching out as I break them in - heat helps speed this up. So 7 is my size, snug as it is.I really wish they made 1/2 sizes, because in other respects, I can feel that this shoe is comfy. Not as padded as Crocs and not as deep/conforming as Mels (Mel flats seem to hug my entire foot whereas these seem cut low on all sides), but oh so cute. My feet do distort the flats a bit since I have a wide-ish foot with bunions, but I have this problem with almost all flats, so just deal with it. As for color, the red is darling, though I think I'd prefer a deeper red color like Cranberry. The Licorice is a true deep black that looks just like patent leather. There is a bit of toe cleavage shown too, but I don't mind.I've ordered a slingback version in 8 since reviews lead me to believe they feel about a 1/2 size too small - which would be perfect! I'll update when they come in.*Note: The Cherry pair I ordered from Fair Indigo (seller) came without the super cool blue magnetic closure origami shoe box! Amazon partially refunded me for this as I was really looking forward to the shoe box. As weird as wanting a shoe box sounds, it really is super cool and I am keeping the box the Licorice pair came in!SIZING UPDATE: I now own 5 pairs of these shoes. For those that are 1/2 sizes, the lighter colors are looser than the darker colors. For instance, my size 7 pair in Licorice still feel hug my feet after three heat stretches while I purchased another Cherry pair in 7 that needed no heat stretching at all - wore them in comfort right out of the box. I also have Camel (no heat stretching needed), Fawn (one heat stretch) and Plum (two heat stretches). You might want to keep that in mind when choosing what to buy.SQUEAKING UPDATE: The squeaking is caused by trapped pockets of air. For me, it is under my arch - since my feet are wide, the arch support doesn't line up to my foot and there is space there. I added in Dr Scholls hidden arches and am glad to say squeaks are no longer a problem!SLINGBACK UPDATE: The reviews are spot on. It's a 1/2 size shorter and the slingback in size 8 fits my 7 1/2 foot perfectly. Really happy with these slingbacks!!

Cute, comfortable, seems like they will last a while
These exceeded all my expectations! I got the pink ones in a 6.5 which is my most common size. When I first put them on they felt funny because they have a small bulge that should fit between the ball of your foot and your toes (a horizontal bulge). I thought they were defective till I put on the other shoe. Wasn't sure I liked it until I started walking around and realized it kept my foot from sliding around - Brilliant!! Except for the lack of padding and arch support, they are quite a bit more comfortable than most ballet shoes. In fact, they are more comfortable than a pair of Born ballets I just got and that's saying something. Super fantastic little shoes, seem very sturdy, and so far I haven't been able to get a smudge on them. I might buy more!!

Don't buy it
I never leave reviews on products before but I have to do it for this one:1) looks cute in picture on amazon. Not as fitted and cute in person. You will notice gaps because the shoes doesn't really hug your feet2) the entire shoe is rubber and within an hour it will make your feet sweat like crazy. Once you start sweating the shoes will just feel sticky.3) when it comes to walking after a while you will notice that the shoes doesn't really stick to your feet and support your walking it just feels more like your feet is trying to drag the shoes and keep it on4) if you ride the train or take public transporatation this is not a comfortable shoe to stand in.5) I wore this in the rain twice and the shoe is unaffected by the rain but the flats are pretty low that water just comes right in and it doesn't dry once the shoe gets wet so you are stuck with wet feet sweaty feet all day6) I started developing blisters near the sides of my foot from this material and the way it hugs your feet. There's no arch support.6) unfortunately I have realized this all after I've tested it out and can no longer get a refund but had I known this ahead of time I would not recommend this. For the price it's not cheap for flats. I had a pair of lucky brand flats for the same price and now I wish I had spent money on buying a new pie of that insteadSeverely unhappy with these shoes. Please read all the reviews before buying. If possible try to find a place to try this on first. Very disappointing.
