Super functional, perfect design
I am going to use it for transatlantic air travel with my cat. This pet carrier is so well designed with attention to a very tiny things. Quality of material used, unique concept of design with flexible rod-based frame accommodating to available space, hard and super light floor cover with soft pad, openings for venting - everything is superb. I have checked several other products available on the market and this one is just perfect for any travel, especially for air travel. I am highly recommending this product, just select the right size for your precious friend.

Great air travel bag for a larger small dog
I got a large sized bag and was nervous that my Chihuahua mix would be considered too big for it and turned away at the airport, but we had no issues whatsoever. My dog is about 15 in at the shoulder and has long legs, but he is lean and only weighs about 15 lbs. We flew on WestJet into Calgary- the agents didn't even look at him during check in and the bag fit perfectly in a window seat (definitely wouldn't have fit under the aisle or middle). He can't stand up fully but can turn around and is comfortable laying down. The bag is overall well made and designed, but with a 16 lb dog it got pretty uncomfortable on my shoulder when carrying him around the airport. Overall a great bag!

Very durable.
This almost looks like a real bag. I have a 5lb Prapso and a 7lb Shih-tzu and they both have enough turn around space in the Large. My Shih-tzu was a bit scared and started scratching the net; so I will have to get him adjusted to being in it. I got this to travel on the airplane, as I've done a lot of research this bag is supposedly approved to go on board. I've read a lot of stories so we shall see and I'll come back and update.

Great Quality 👍
Pictured is my 6 month old 23# Pembroke Corgi. This is a XL bag she is in. The quality of this bag is top notch. The material seems like it will hold up a lifetime and the mesh is also of very thick nice material. I bought this bag to fly with Delta airlines. I also ordered a large just in case because technically this XL bag does not meet the in cabin measurement requirements. I did take the middle rod out of the top of this bag so it appears smaller. Will update after our flight ✈️ in a couple weeks to let everyone know if the bag needed to be swapped for a size L instead.

High quality bag with some downsides
I did a ton of research on airline compliant pet carriers for my 15 lb pup and this is one of a few I chose. The bag is super high quality and looks quite durable. The bed inside is also probably the most comfortable of the carriers I ordered. It does have flaps on the top you can open for more ventilation. Also the rounded shape plus the strap make it way more ergonomic to carry over your shoulder than the rectangular ones. But I ended up going with another carrier for a few different reasons. The main issue for the large size of the SturdiBag is that my pup is at the limit of fitting comfortably in the the airline compliant dimensions, and because this bag is rounded that meant total space was tighter for him compared to a rectangular bag with similar dimensions. The other issue is that the only opening to the bag is on the front, whereas the carrier I went with also opens on the top. This makes it easier to train your dog to get use to the carrier and also gives you more optionality when using it than the SturdiBag.That said the SturdiBag was more comfortable to carry over my shoulder so if my dog had fit more comfortably I would have definitely gone with it. In the end I’m going with the Roverlund carrier which also has the benefit of being able to be carried as a backpack.

Bought 2, chose one review
This is a well made product however it arrived with some type of dried, off-white debris splattered on the middle side of the bag. It showed up real well with the burgundy color backdrop so I’m surprised this was missed by the seller. Perhaps it was a returned item?? Very gross. Also, for our use, I found it to be quite complex to open and close all of the compartments, including the breathable mesh which required unrolling of the window covers. Prior to opening any compartment you have to drill your way through the shoulder strap first and then the carry handle which bundles up into a snap enclosure. Again, this is a well made product but the design didn’t work for our needs. We have a 16 pound Schnauchi (mini-schnauzer/Chihuahua) that stands 16” high (from the floor to top of her head), 8” wide and 22” length. She could not stand completely but could duck and turn around with plenty of room to be comfortable. She easily with extra room fit the length and width of the bag. I can see why this is a popular bag for travel if you don’t mind having to deal with trying to get into Fort Knox!!!We also purchased the large PetAmi Premium airline approved soft sided ventilated bag. It isn’t as wide but it is taller and our pup can stand up completely and turn around with room to lay down. She fits in fully length wise with very little room to stretch out but width wise she has a bit extra space so she can curl up easily. It’s about a third of the price and you can tell based on the sturdiness but for our use, which is generally non-stop, 2 hour flights, it was a better fit. Both bags are squishable and can probably fit under many airline seats but I guess you could get the employee that wants to be a jerk and insist it doesn’t meet airline specs. I thought about making a foldable cardboard cube using the airline dimensions and if questioned, pull it out and stuff the bag in it!!Regardless, I hope everyone enjoys safe travels with their pups!

Cat Approved
I bought 3 different carriers for my two cats, as I need to comply with the airlines because of relocating. I returned them all until I found this gem. This carrier is very roomie and can be squished down to fit under the seat of a plane that has very little room. Most planes are good with 10 inches. Unfortuneatly the aircraft we are on is 8 inches max. The material is great quality and I highly recommend. My cats recommend them also.

Good product
I was looking for a carrier that can fit under the seat on the plane. I bought other brand earlier where the side expands to give more space, but then it was pretty stiff and felt I cannot squeeze that in although it said it will in the description. This one is really flexible and can squeeze down easily, but then it gives plenty of room inside. My pup is 33cm shoulder to toe when standing up (5.4kg), and she can easily stand and turn around inside this X-Large size . It does look pretty big, so am not sure what the impression the airline company will have. The size is not so different from XL to Large, so I might try buying the Large and give this one away. Overall I am satisfied with the product.
