Gaffer Power sells the best tapes
The floor vents in our house have gaps and broken corners, leaking out heated and air-conditioned air while also letting in odors from the crawl space. This tape was beautiful to work with, thin but strong, and plenty of yardage on the roll. It conformed well to all of the seams and gaps and layered perfectly to create tight seals. It adheres well and the backing peels off easily. Sealing up fourteen vents was a breeze - no pun intended.

I bought this to seal some duct work. It did the job but it's a bit on the thin side.
