Necklace is very pretty but description is deceiving. This necklace was described as 14k gold, but the small print under details says it's gold filled. I'd expect 14k gold for the price. Nonetheless, it was a gift for my daughter-in-law and she loves it. She has gotten several compliments on it. The chain is the perfect length and the opal stone is really nice. I would not recommend this to anyone because it is not 14k gold.

Got this for my wife's birthday (it's her birthstone). She loves it and so do I. Opals can really vary so much, this was kind of a risk of disappointment. The Opal is very beautiful with a tiny bit of translucence and a bit of orange tint on one side. Fascinating. Wish we could have a tiny light in it!!! The mount is made from gold wire wound around in beautiful twists and turns, very unusual. Wonderful gift!

The necklace is much prettier than the photo. The opal had lots of fire. The wire work was beautiful and gave the piece a unique, hand-crafted look. very happy with this purchase.

Not what I saw on Amazon. Craftsmanship wasn't the same.

Wish they have more choices on the length of chain. Comes at 18 in. 20 would be better. But very nice piece of jewelry 😉
