This is one shampoo that really works!
This is by far the best shampoo I have tried, and I've tried most of them. Davis actually puts in the shampoo what is listed on the ingredients plus I follow the instructions and LEAVE IT ON for at least 10 minutes. It takes time to work, and there is no shortcut for this step if you want it to work. Another trick I have learned through the years is to shampoo the animal first with a regular shampoo. Then towel dry it so the hair is still damp but not wet. I then apply the shampoo directly, being sure to spread it as widely over the body as possible. It takes very little since the hair is already clean. I then add just enough water to get it spread well. The reason for this is that when the animal is wet the medication in this shampoo get diluted too much and loses its effectiveness. After all it isn't the hair that needs the medication - it is the skin below. It really works and my shampoo lasts at least twice as long.Money well spent.

Pleasant smell and good for dog skin
Terrier mix dogs often have sensitive skin so this type shampoo is necessary. Smells ok. I try on my eyes because I have found shampoo makers lie about painful products. Did not feel good due to sting. So be careful using this stuff. I have had worse.

Works great
I waited a month before giving it a review. My wife found this and I read the reviews. A lot of them sounded like the condition of my dog. We took her to the vet she had redness and lose of hair plus her skin was scaly. They treated her with pills, shampoo, and shots. With no prevail. So I ordered this shampoo. I give her a bath 2 times a week. Leave it on her for 15 minutes. Her hair is coming back and scaliness of her skin has gone away. I will definitely be buying again. The shampoo does have a strong smell. But it is worth it to see my dog looking 10 times better.

It’s not for cats
It said PET shampoo. I was assuming for Dogs and Cats. But once I received it and read the label it says Do not use on cats. 🤦🏽♀️smdh. Neither the bottle or description should say PET SHAMPOO if its only for Dogs. 😞 No relief for my poor kitty now.

Smells kind of bad, but works REALLY great!
Quick shipping. Recommended by my Vet for my Carin Terrier he developed some kind of moldy looking dark spots on his belly. Unfortunately, after about 2 years of use this is the only thing that keeps it away.... I say unfortunately because it smells strange (a little like sulfur duh lol, just use some deodorizer spray for that). It works-smells odd-leaves him soft and clean-only thing that helps his skin condition. 5 stars even with the stinky smell because given what it is made out of the smell is not too bad.... Could be waaaaayyyyyy worse, they did a good job diluting the smell.EDIT: I read some bad reviews it did not stop itching, which is a problem he had too. For this to work on my dog I used it the way the Vet said. I lather him up, I leave it on about 5 min, then rinse, don't add anything else after the rinse, and dry him off after with a blow dryer. I do this 1 to 2 times a week, and it does not dry out his skin like most shampoos I have used in the past.
