Taragi Yerba Mate - Passion Fruit (2 Pack, 1.17 LB Each)

This was a Christmas present from my spouse and it is the best yerba mate I have ever tried! I have been having mate for several years and tried different brands. I stuck with the Taragui sin palo because my friend from Argentina loved it. However, this maracuya flavor is a game changer! The smell is delicious and intensifies the flavor while making it less bitter. Best Christmas present of 2022!

I love the tropical passion fruit that is added to this yerba mate! Makes you feel like you’re drinking mate at the beach!

Well, I wanted to like this product very badly - especially after opening the bag and being struck by a delightful wave of passion fruit - but when brewed it turns into something that's very difficult to stomach. The passion fruit + yerba mate combo results in a flavor like a very bitter, warmed-up cold medicine, and as I sit here drinking a gourd and typing out this review my stomach is genuinely unsettled. I love yerba mate, and I love passion fruit, so on paper this seems like a match made in heaven, but the flavor combination is extremely unpleasant, and adding a sweetener (I've tried several different kinds, hoping to find one that can rescue the flavor) has helped only marginally.I'm glad to see that some people love this product, based on all the 5-star reviews, but I just wanted to share my experience because, unfortunately, it's at odds with all the others despite wanting so badly to agree.

It actually tasted like maracuyá! I was skeptical at first but now I’m a believer haha. Great stuff. Seller I bought from delivered one of the bags torn but was kind enough to fix the issue. Super recommended!
