This bag is great! Sturdy, lots of room. I love the internal and external pockets, ample room, straps to since it down while closed. Very well thought out bag.I use it for hauling clothing on a hitch mounted cargo rack and so far it has kept dust and rain out with clothes staying clean and dry.

I like the off road, and my wife too., and we need some good quality stuff for that; and to keep our clothes clean and dry! ,This is a Heavy Duty Cargo Bag, is bigger that I expected!!!, storm & bullet proof !, it's my first bag with no zipper system, was new for me, I like the building quality of materials and the bag. I will buy the ARB Small Cargo Gear too.!In my next off-road trip going to test it!!ARB is a brand with excellent products, one can not expect more, I give it 5 stars to this ARB Brown Large Cargo Gear !price is high, but you getting first quality stuff!thanks amazon & arb!update 30/09/2014, the last weekend, I did a 4 days trip, with this bag, it was in the truck bag,with a looooot sand dust (about 5mm of dust) I had my doubts if my clothes would be clean and dust free, and found it was no dust no dirt!!!just an excellent ARB product!

These bags are really well made and can hold a lot of gear. I use them every time I go camping. They’ve been through 3 snow storms and 3 rain storms so far and my gear has stayed bone dry. You won’t find a better dry bag out there.

I happened to drive back home in a storm and snow and the bag certainly kept all my contents nice and dry. Recommended.

This is based off initial impressions. I will update after regular use.I think the material is great, looks like it can easily be patched if you poke a hole in it somehow. The buckles, fabric and straps seem like they will last. The internal zippers, grab handles and mesh pockets look like they wont last. They didnt use YKK zippers for the inside pockets and uses cheap mesh, seems like an afterthought. the grab handles are that hard plastic rubber coated stuff, from previous experiences these always break. not the most robust webbing was used either. I think at this price point and storm proof features, its a good bag. The money goes where you need it to go, the actual bag material. If the the XL North Face duffel had a similar closing system, it would blow this bag out of the water. But then again that bag is like $60 more. I bought this to go on my roof rack, so I think it will hold up fine.I just noticed that there are only 3 plastic lashing loops where the carry handles meet the bag, there should be 4, I may have gotten a defective bag. And if that is the case, I will be returning.UPDATE: I contacted ARB, and their excellent customer service got back to me and think the bag is indeed defective with only 3 tabs, supposed to be 4. nevertheless, i returned the bag.

1 - No ARB key ring as advertised.2 - Missing one of the 4 tie-down points. Looks like it and the fabric tab was never sewn on.3 - One of the snap-in clips had the springy plastic piece missing.Although it would probably still perform well for my needs, I returned the item due to poor workmanship and Quality Control for a bag that costs over $100.I’ll try ordering from somewhere else.
