Received within 48hrs.of ordering. I wonder if I got the last set as they are now out of stock. I got them at a one time only price under £18. I already had an 8inch Chef knife which cost £15 on its own & I wanted a full set including a block. These looked good on the video so I thought I'd give them a try. I'm so glad I did. They are superb. The steel on the three 8 inch knives is 2mm.thick on the blades' spines & 2.5mm.within the handles. The steel on the small knives is 1.5mm & 2mm. The blades are tapered along their length & breadth. The knives appear to be fully integral ie. they are made from 1 piece of steel from blade to bolster to tang & to pommel. This is usually only seen on expensive knives & should give good strength with long life. The big knives are very sharp from the box, the smaller knives slightly less so but ok. The handles are of a dense, weighty solid material similar to Delrin or g10 & well shaped to fit your hand. The knife block is acacia wood & is solidly made with a facing of stainless steel lipped to perfectly hold a 10 tablet, book or 'phone. I can't believe how good this set is for this low price. I live in Sheffield & have often looked at sets from local companies that are out of my price range. As long as the steel holds up I would say this set compares well with items costing 4/5 times the price of this one - I've seen similar knife blocks for £40 on their own - Without any knives! If this set comes back into stock I would advise anyone to snap them up, even if the price doubles!

Haven't actually used them yet, but they look really good. Thick metal - Very sharp and the Box is very very nice and great quality - Very pleased with these and pleased with the price also - Good quality

Nearly didn’t purchase as silver handles. However have pattern which enables good grip. Extremely sharp, & main knives needed all included for most cookery tasks. Bonus having steak knives included. Sturdy on the worktop & look good too. Highly recommend

can't believe how sharp these are - have cut myself twice while washing them. they work really well, are super easy to handle and light. i like to store them in the slots, but not sure i'll ever use the other side for the ipad or cooking book - also if you do that, the knives will be at a funny angle to be taken out, but i suppose it's an option for some

Hello All,Recently I bought these 14 pieces of kitchen set. It is a very useful product for cutting the vegetables or meat etc as it has different sized knives. It also comes with a sharpener which helps us to sharpen when the knives become blunt. The knives holder is very attractive and the knives perfectly fit into them. Overall it is a good product at a reasonable price.

Love the look of natural wood & so handy having somewhere to stand book, tablet or phone.The knives are probably the sharpest I have ever bought so need to be careful when using them, yes they are that sharp. They have a nice weight to them too so nice to use. Don't put them in the dishwasher for two reasons; 1, could easily cut your hands if not aware they had been loaded2, reviews on most knives mentioned signs of rust even extremely expensive ones so didnt want to risk itWould highly recommend this knife set.

I love this set, they are very professional looking and are comfortable to use. I especially like the front bit that supports a recipe book or tablet and the wooden block is beautifully made. Great product for the money

Juste parfait, couteaux bien aiguisés et une bonne diversité de couteau. Un bon cadeau de Noël, la partie couteaux à steak pour Monsieur et pour moi la partie couteaux de cuisine. Le bloc est bien lourd donc ne bouge pas quand on prends un couteau et de belle qualité

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, praktische Aufbewahrung, ausreichende Vielfalt an verschiedenen Messergrößen, liegt gut beim Arbeiten in der Hand, sehr scharf und spitz, wird gern verwendet, da macht das Kochen gleich viel mehr Spaß! Wetzstahl - noch keine Beurteilung, da noch nicht in Verwendung gewesen.

Gut zu handhaben. Leicht zu säubern. Schneidet sehr gut.
