The freshness in the roast is great.
Fresh roast receivedAlso the flavour is very balanced with a smooth finish with a Suttle punch. Grind size is also perfect (I asked for French press) I think it's worth the money for the quality & passion of the manufacturer & roaster.

Perfect morning blend
EKA is the first blend of coffee I have tried from Seven Beans. This is 100% coffee with no additives adn by looking at the colour of the grind it looks like a medium roast . Before going for the taste notes, a special mention to its packaging, very beautiful and appealing overall almost makes you want to look at it every time you brew the coffee. The grounded coffee has a strong smell of wood and a fiant hint of warm biscuits and is quite strong the moment you open the packet. The grind, although a bit fine, works well with a drip coffee maker and gives a nice cup which smells of biscuits with a maybe a note of citrus. The brewed coffee has a nice body to it, very balanced and rounded. Slupring through the cup, it is evident that the coffee ain't too acidic but bright enough to be noticed and goes down very smoothly. It has a noticeable dark-smooth texture in the beginning, slightly sweet notes and very flat overall in a very pleasant way. It finishes with a lingering smoothness and very faint undertones of citrus. This coffee is perfect for a morning brew and bound to be consumed everyday.

the grind is medium and i may need a coarse grind
i bought this for a french press, and i didnt like the flavor much. maybe i forgot what real coffee tastes like since i havent had any in almost seventeen years, i have been drinking that chicory blend, but this is 100% coffee. i did buy a freeze dried instant that tastes similar. there is too much sludge in the coffee and it may be the fault of the press itself or my method of brewing, still experimenting. but i definitely need to try a coarser grind and another brand.

High quality beans, but old roast.
Been a while since I purchased it so giving a generic feedback. I did enjoy this coffee, the beans looked high quality with an even roast. However, the roast was old (6 months) and that showed in lack of distinctive flavors. My suggestion- this good coffee can be made great if roasted within 15 days-1 month.Update: The seller promised complimentary 'Buy One Get One' offer on submitting the review, but did not follow up on the promise. Not reducing seller/coffee rating. But, on moral grounds will not be buying from them again.

"Made in India", Exquisite and Rich ... Probably only few brands in India, that can compete with International Brands.
Only few "Made in India" brands with exquisite and rich coffee blend. I have a coffee machine, once the 15 bar pressure goes on top the porta filter, the whole room is filled with it's rich and soothing Aroma, and to top it off some good Chillsteps ... and your perfect day begins. For people making latte, this is it! Dark Medium Roast.Go for it! You will love it.

Starbucks and Cafe Coffee Day ... you better watch out for these guys
Seven Beans really surprised me. Living abroad and travelling a fair amount exposes you to good coffees and once you taste good coffee there is no going back.On my last trip to India, I was desperate for a good cup and I came across this niche company that sources their coffee locally and have partnered with roast masters in Italy.I was just shocked how good their coffee tastes ... If i was to blind taste it, I would have never in a million years guessed it is from India.Just goes to show that with the right care and attention, Indian companies can make some world beating products.

Nice taste treat
I love trying different coffees. I always have a few on hand - ready to brew depending on my mood. This is my first Indian coffee and I really love that it has a bit of a pleasant spicy note. No - not like curry or anything, but there's a nice little bite on the tongue. I bought the ground (not whole bean) version and like that it has a slightly finer grind than many pre-ground coffees. The roast is medium - as advertised and smoothe - not too acid.I'll be ordering again. Thanks for the nice taste treat folks!

house smelled like chocolate...
My spouse asked for a sip of my coffee this morning since the house smelled like chocolate after making this coffee...she never never asks to try my coffee. We both agree this is a special coffee - the aroma and the flavor tones are unique and great. In my opinion it has a chocolate and cinnamon flavor profile with out overtly tasting like either. I highly recommend trying it.

Three Stars
It's not that great of a blend. It's a bit different from the norm but, honestly, it's meh...
