Bought it for a halloween costume, helmet was packaged very nice, nice satin black paint, smooth, liner is decent, it fits pretty well for me, my head is 7-1/4, the chin strap is decent doesn't hurt your chin or neck area when tighten, the buckle is kind of tough to slide the extra chin strap into the buckle after it is tight, I'm sure over time it will get easier. The rattling is from the D rings holing the chin strapes. Has a decent weight to it, put together well, i dont see why you couldn't wear this as a motorcycle helmet, it is better then not wearing any motorcycle helmet at all. Everything the company said in the description is pretty accurate about the helmet and details, what I read is what I received. It would be cool to see the helmets weathered a bit or even be able to purchase this helmet is different styles, white, brown, tan, green, white camo, camo, sniper, medic, with chicken wire, etc. The only thing i didn't like was the bottom of my box from Amazon was open. Basically the tape did not stick very well or someone wanted a peak inside. This really has nothing to do with helmet but thought I should add that. Very pleased with my purchase. Comfo, good quality, sturdy built as to be expected of an actual, steel helmet. Like the color. Enjoy wearing it.

What do I know about authenticity? Virtually nothing.If Germans were good at one thing, it was equipping their military with uniforms that looked the part. The M35 Stahlhelm is no exception. It is the example people looked to when creating our modern combat helmets. The PASGT and MICH helmets clearly took a page out of the stahlhelm's book. A very singular force protection design. Also a divisive one.I've always loved the look and design of the stahlhelm. Much like the french-style kepi worn by Union and Confederate troops during the US civil war, it has always intrigued me. The Germans may have been predisposed to jackbooting, but they certainly did it in style.I bought this as a prop for the book series I'm writing, and it more than serves its purpose. A fearsome specimen of a helmet, it is well built. The liner is adjustable. I have worn it and it feels like a steel helmet ought to. Only complaint I really have is that the chinstrap is quite stiff brand new, but like anything leather, it softens with use, wear and absorption of oils.After 2 years of owning one, mine still looks and feels great.

Perfect. Brandon would look perfect in this helmet or his son Hunter. Almost any liberal would look very realistic in this reproduction helmet.

I gave four stars because the chinstraps that attach the straps to the helmet rattle a little bit (It's very easy to fix). It fits very well for the average head size and works with glasses very well also. Overall very nice for the price and functional. Defenatly recommend this helmet.

Well made good price. What I love about it most is it don’t catch wind when riding It’s not DOT approval. But I wear it for the look we don’t have helmet law where I live. Very nice helmet

This says it’s a 1935 but the helmet is actually more like a 1940. The back of the helmet is shorter and doesn’t cover the nape of the neck or ears like the 1935.

Very nice and authentic looking replica. No rattles or dents like a few reviews were saying. Looks very collectible as well. Nice and heavy steel, like the original. Fits as well as can be expected.
