Bonide Bontone II Rooting Powder has become a must-have in my gardening kit. I used it on some softwood cuttings and was amazed at how quickly the roots began to develop. It’s super easy to use—just dip the end of your cutting into the powder and stick it in moist soil. I’ve even used it with seeds and bulbs by gently shaking them in a bag with the powder, and it really makes a difference. I appreciate that it works for so many plants—flowers, vegetables, even fruit trees. I’ve used it on mums and geraniums with great success. It gives my transplants a real boost and helps everything settle in faster. It’s a small bottle, but it goes a long way. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to increase plant success rates!

I used this to root geranium and salvia cuttings and have produced a ton of new plants (about 50 new plants). I had a 98% success with my cuttings, and I’m gobsmacked that I didn't start rooting my plant starts years ago! With the price of plants today, rooting plant starts is the way to go!

This jaded gardener is very happy with the quickly developing, profuse roots on clippings from some previously recalcitrant plants that simply refused to root in plain water or damp soil.I even cut a languishing, leafless philodendron strand into single joint segments, dusted with this product, put in water— and they’ve all begun rooting in only three days. Oh, and nearly all eight segments are throwing out leaves as well.(For the record, I have the offspring of the dieffenbachia my father gave my mother in 1964, so my reluctant-to-root plants haven’t been for lack of a green thumb—but this product sure enhances what I’m able to propagate among my greenery.)

Love it . It even rooted a hydrangea that I clipped and I've propagated quite a few plants. The jar was half empty when it arrived and nothing spilled in the box. I expected a full bottle of whatever size I bought but I got a more air than product. But it does work.

Works good and easy to use. A must in your garden.

But delivery was in a bag and the cap cracked open a little and powder got all over inside bag thankfully I only had twine inside with it but it was mess had to clean up 😢
