Hi, couldn't find it locally and purchasing it this way was less work. It comes in a jar with a wide mouth lid so it's easy to measure out what you need. Seems to work as well as any arrowroot, I used in the past.I will be buying other items from this company, I should imagine.

I find Arrowroot powder my go to thickener. It’s easy to use to thicken soup’s, gravy’s. Anything you need thickened without it changing the taste, it works great!! Only takes about a Tablespoon to thicken 1/4 cup of liquid.

This is a premium arrowroot powder. Very finely ground. Works great to prevent latex sheets from sticking together or to anything else. Highly recommended.

I went from using flour to use in cornstarch and now I use this how to thicken up my sauce and gravies and as long as you put the right concentration of powder to water ratio you will keep the fibers strong enough to thicken quick are those people who love to cook they had to try this out dress right there is no failure only the cook when using this properly

It's arrowroot powder. It does everything arrowroot powder is supposed to do. So 5 stars for existence!BUT - it's WAY cheaper than buying a little bottle of it. So now I refill my little bottle for the shelf, and keep this in the freezer. Do I need to keep it in the freezer? I have no idea. I keep a lot of things there. I don't have a lot of shelf space, and I have an extra freezer. And the plastic container fits nicely next to the bags of flour and shredded coconut. 5 stars for freezer-storage compatibility!

Works great! Mixes well. Changes to a thick gravy texture easily, with a nice texture. I went to make spaghetti with sauce. When i went to grt the sauce found out I was out. So on the fly made a burger with peppers and mushrooms and used the arrowroot power to make it like a gravy...only not. Was easy and turned out tasty!

My dietary needs call for no flour of any kind. The arrowroot is a great substitute for the thickening agent I'm needing.
