Love this coffee
Marley Coffee, Organic Lively Up! Espresso Ground Coffee, 8 Ounce Love this coffee. I am a coffee snob although I only drink one or two cups a day, it has to be bold and not bitter. This coffee does not disappoint. I prepare in the machine each evening before bed and set the timer and this coffee, gets me UP. It is smooth but strong enough to know you have had coffee. No bitter after taste and no problems with my belly as some strong coffees tend to cause. I highly recommend and will purchase again.

Amazing coffee for the coffee fiend!
Definitely my new favorite coffee for my French press! The method that I use to make an espresso in a French press (I have a Bodum):Boil 1 cup water. I use the microwave.Scoop 3 heaping tablespoons of coffee grounds into the French press.Add just enough water to cover grounds (DO NOT PLUNGE) let sit 30-60 seconds.Add remaining water and place lid on, DO NOT PLUNGE YET. Let sit another 60 seconds.Plunge once, immediately pour coffee into mug/s :)I also froth some milk in the microwave while making my coffee (Disclaimer: AT YOUR OWN RISK! NEVERTHELESS leave lid on jar in microwave when frothing milk) and add a shot of caramel syrup sugar free and 2 packets Truvia :) hope this helps!

Taste great but expensive
Makes a great gift for a coffee lover because it’s so good but man is it expensive for everyday use.

Simply delicious
This coffee was the bomb. I've bought lots of random coffees and this is probably the best one I bought randomly off the internet. Rich and dark taste. Seems like a solid and conscientious company as well. Great packaging.I liked it so much I brought it to my girlfriend's place to make her a cup. She also thought it was great and she used to be a barista so has high standards for coffee. The smell was so enticing her dog even got into my bag, found the bag of coffee, and was caught trying to rip it open.

Trashed after drinking half
Over roasted. Tastes burnt. Oily beans.I have had Yirgacheff from different roasters, namely Oren's Daily Roast, Intelligentsia, and La Colombe Torrefection. Their roasts are very light and mild and just full of flavor that is not "burnt coffee" taste but with much more complexities. Theirs were just utmost joy to drink black, with every sip making me go "mmmm..."But this one, Marley's is dark roast, beans are oily as heck and almost stale-tasting. No complexities, no body, just the smell of "coffee-as-popularized-by-Starbucks." When I made this coffee and let my friend taste it, he said that "it tastes like water and coffee, not just coffee." I fully agreed; there is intense burnt dark roast taste in the beginning but everything thereafter is just water. (My brewing method is fairly consistent and have had great results in the past using the same brewing method.)Maybe My comparison between fresh roasted beans to this packaged beans is not fair but I had to trash these beans after drinking half and went out to buy better Yirgacheffs.

The package of coffee that I purchased years ago was much, much better than this time.
I don't think I purchase this flavor again. Even though this is a different flavor than the last purchase, the quality doesn't seem the same; and I cost and price are much different; and it was from the same company.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT
After a tasting of about 30 different coffees from 30 makers, Marley Coffee was the hands down unanimous favorite and truly stands out with it's organig/ethiopian special blend. They have about 10 different kinds, check out the Marley sampler pack on Amazon and try them all. It stays true to being organic and has a wonderful aroma and mild flavoring. This is not a heavy coffee, its mild and beautiful. A top women's choice for coffee as they neurologically prefer more mild/subtle flavors.

Why is this watery when it is so delicious?
The coffee was delicious! However, whenever I tried to brew only one shot of espresso it came out watery and translucent, this didn't occur if I made two or more shots. I'm not sure why this happened, but I know it wasn't my espresso machine because this didn't happen with any other espresso brands I tried.

Best coffee ever in my opinion!
All Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee beans are not the same. The Marley brand is smooth and delicious. It is flavourable and deserves time to be enjoyed. It is roasted well and is not bitter, even if you brew it extra strong. The price is similar to my local roasted JBM, so is a great substitute when available.

Misleading description.
Quite a misleadind description of product. It should read 8oz or 227g package. As it is described I was expecting 8 of these packages. The coffee is to my taste but because of the misleading description I can only give one star.
