Mystical Journey From Jesus to Christ: The Origins, History and Secret Teachings of Mystical Christianity

I’m still very early on in reading this. But a lot of the sentences run on. And it’s not a very easy read.As someone who has a background in Christianity but has become re-interested in mysticism, I was curious as to how this book would play out. And after reading all the stellar reviews, I was excited. I just got to a page in the book that seems to be edited poorly where an info graphic was formatted over the main text. I hope this was fixed in other prints of the book and maybe I just got a bad copy.

Wow, mind blower! This book opens the doors to possibilities that the average person may not have dreamed of. I come from a moderately religious background, and my knowledge of other religions other than my own are weak; and that's the same problem with many people. What I enjoyed most is how the author starts from the beginning - we learn about his own personal background and his journey to gain new religious and spiritual knowledge. The book then takes the reader on that very same journey by starting from the earliest texts and doctrines and shows how they have transcended and transformed into the religions/beliefs they are now. We learn about Jesus in the same way by reading the actual texts from sources that predate the Bible. It is incredible and very fascinating, it is definitely worth your time.

However this "book of learning and wisdom" is the "Electrons" to the others' Protons/Neutrons. This author is one of the best I ever read when it comes to the Egyptian religion as well as the history on all religions. The most important thing is that he is just not a scholar who sits back and researches and formulates ideas he practices and actually teaches the system as a way of life, not many could say that. I recommend this book to all Christians who want to take the journey to be one with Christ. This book will put you on the path to experiencing the oneness in everything and is not bassed off of just having belief or faith.

This book explains what happen some religions not just Christianity but also us Isalm,Judaism. Book learned more what parents talk about Christianity. Also explores similarities and nom similarities of different religions. If learn what happen Christianity went through changes lost original meaning.

This wisdom is essential for the foundation of anyone on the path. Insights into origins and beginnings of mythologies and rituals are invaluable to ones understanding. To know is our quest, to surely know is our destiny. Stay true and move to the light. Hotep

This book was a little hard to get into at first but once you see where it is going you are hooked. As with most mystical texts it is repetative but much was worth repeating. The Religious History is critical to a more complete appreciation of modern religion and the sources of many of todays issues.As one on the Path I can highly recommend this work. But, you must come with an open mind not seeking comfort but truth. Peace. Saint

This book was excellent. Dr. Ashby is a very knowledgeable individual who was able to show the similarities in the religions of the world and that our purpose as human beings, no matter the religion, is to return to our source. I recommend this book to anyone who is feeling the pressure to attain more out of life and find and be the Truth. This book will change your life.
