Christopher Isherwood Reads Selections from the Bhagavad Gita Audio CD – August 1, 2005

Gratitude is the first word that comes to mind regarding the caliber of Christopher Isherwood's reading as well as for the Bhagavad Gita itself. This is the first non-Christian text that has really helped me understand my own principal path - one is which I was raised, left behind, then returned to personally and professionally as a church musician for twenty-plus years. Even if the former were not so, or not relevant to another reader, the essential beauty of this CD in all aspects makes it a treasure.

Very good reading from a very good translation. I enjoy listening to it during a long drive. The recording is not crystal clear in certain parts, especially the transitions; but I can overlook it.

this is a easy to listen to cd. Loved it .The Bhagavad Gita is a wonderful book and ChristopherIsherwood makes it easier to grasp.
